MAJOR ISSUE: Projectile animations slow down the game (0.C Cooper)

Projectiles travel way too slowly and take too much of real game time to resolve attacks.
Examples:
*Turrets placed on roads firing projectiles at zombies can take up to 20 seconds PER TURN to resolve the attacks just because of the slow speed of bullets travelling across the map (the more zoomed out, the longer it takes).
*Randomly spawned NPCs with firearms can also take their sweet time burst firing at random enemies.
*Firing long-ranged burst shots takes forever.
Any entity capable of shooting projectiles is essentially a MAJOR PROBLEM.
And that is with animation delay set to 0
This needs to be fixed immediately.
Solutions:

  1. Option to disable projectile animations for non-player characters.
  2. Option to disable projectile animations entirely and allow for all attacks (ranged or otherwise) to resolve immediately.
  3. Speed up projectiles to travel 2x, 3x, 4x, 10x faster

Either way, I would like to know what to edit in the files to solve this issue ASAP.
(I use the RetroDays tileset and recommend that everyone uses it as their default permanently)

This was brought up previously and has still not been resolved: http://smf.cataclysmdda.com/index.php?topic=9893.0

Resolved in experimentals.

Not 100%, but significantly sped up.
