There’s a proposal for a mod that blacklists items on github. If an item is in the blacklist mod, and you enable the mod, it will prevent the item from spawning, and it will hide the recipe for making it if any. Basically it’s as if the item doesn’t exist.
The question is how to choose the list, that’s where this thread comes in, vote for as many items as you want, but please only make one post to make vote counting easier, duplicate posts will be deleted. If you later change your mind, just edit that first post. Also to keep vote counting easy, please no conversation in this thread, but of course feel free to discuss the process elsewhere. I think three votes should be sufficient to get an item on the blacklist, but if it ends up being like half the items in the game we might need to have a run-off or something.
Once the list is compiled, it’ll go out with the experimental, but the whole point here is that it’s a simple list, if you decide you only want some of the items blacklisted, it’s way easier to remove them from the list than to hunt them down and add them to the list yourself.

I had to guess a bit at some of them because the votes were a little vague, you may want to clarify if it caught something you didn’t intend or missed something you did intend. In particular there is some discontent about the Tonfa getting lumped in with “Japanese weapons”, and someone was wondering whether bikini means specifically bikinis, or all swimwear.

In an amusing twist, none of the other maintainers were willing to merge the PR, so it’s not happening after all.
