Awesome.
Interesting approach, I’d really like to have this Ultima VI-VII feeling in C:DDA. Keep up the good work!

And it’s only been… what, a month and 10 days? :-p Atleast this should be pretty striking. I finalized the pallisade walls, which is to say i made a high quality complete tile-subset for that tile types. 11 individual tiles… click below to see the tileset and an example that uses each of the indivudal tiles atleast once, as an example to show how snazzy your new Cataclysm log fort can be!

This. Is. awesome ! Sod that, it’s AMAZING !!!
If I may ask - did you consider the brightness of the tiles ? Both in terms of making static / environment tiles slightly darker for clarity (as suggested in one of the tileset threads) and making all tiles generally darkish, to reflect the apocalyptic feel of CATA ?
Keep up the great work !
Good.
You might wanna look at Chrono Trigger’s character/sprite design, seems to me they’ve got the topdown-isometric thing just about right; even better if you can scrap away the sole bulkiness of that design.
