there should be a way to increase speed with out the quick mutation or the fleet footed mutation, maybe some formula that multiplies your STR and DEX then divides it by 10 or 20 or something like that to increase your speed and give you your base speed

What about those hydrolic leg brace things that Logan wears on Dark Angel (if anyone ever watched that show)? Basically like a bionic thing that you can just wear and doesn’t dissolve your organs if your hand slips.
