How to remove mount points?

There is nothing in Vehicle Construction called mount points.

I ended up in a situation that looked something like this:

with my car, and I couldn’t remove either of the wheels or the frames they were attached to. I had to get around it by putting in new frames like this:

Then it let me remove the wheels, and the frames, and the extra frames in that order.

Apparently it was a bug, it works now.

Yeah, you can get islands of parts on vehicles. You have to build until everything is touching and then pull the farthest part first. Known bug.
