So this is pretty harmless minor thing that you might have hard time running into but nevertheless, just in the name of journalism, documentation, academia, and other such shenanigans, this is what happened. I was removing parts from a target vehicle in a city at night. The target part was the solar panel in yellow condition that you see in pic 1 (top). Now, if you look at the tile to the right, it appears empty… but that is not the case. In pic 2 you’ll see the parts… but you also might see something odd. The frame is missing! So this is the sequence of events: I start removing the yellow solar panel, and the next thing I know, the frame from the tile to the right gets removed instead (which I find at my feet, to my amazement). How this happened? I can’t say with 100% certainty but a few turns later it turned out there was a fat zombie in the car, and quite possibly it was in that very tile where the solar panel is, and its presence interfered with the part removal. Not that I could see or hear anything earlier, or while attempting to remove the solar panel.
So not only did the game manage to remove an unrelated part, but it happened remove a frame, of all things. One might also ask how the hell can those other parts stay there without a frame. But hey, at least the game didn’t crash, so that’s fine.
So there. Weirdest f—ing little bug of 2016, if you ask me.
