How to make the game screen bigger?

I’m fairly new on these kinds of games, actually I’ve never played a roguelike, so I don’t have a clue about what I’m doing.
So my problem is this, when I start the game the screen is very small, trying to make it bigger with the mouse, or using alt+enter doesn’t work so how do I make it bigger?

Go to help, press 2 to go to options, alter the viewscreen size from there.
