Hello, just looking to get started with clay products but can’t find the darn stuff. I was reading an old forum post that said to dig near water, but that hasn’t turned up anything. Does fresh vs salt water matter cause I’m digging near the marsh.
I haven’t messed with it in a while, but IIRC, in the construction menu (* by default), there’s an option to dig up a lump of clay (and the same kind of thing for sand) - it turns a “shallow” water area into a “deep” water area and gives you some clay (or sand).
Yeah, use the construction menu to make a clay mound, as deoxy suggested, and then SMASH IT.
