I was in my safehouse and decided to pick up a ton of stuff. Turns passed and two zombears came and started mauling at me… I couldn’t do anything coz my character was too busy picking up stuff.

Started a new char things were looking good was finished raiding a lab and was making my way out, opened a door and “BEEP BEEP BEEP” a turret kills me from near full health.

Did you have good torso armor and head armor that covered 100 percent, cause that is kinda importaint

I finished clearing out all the queens from an ant nest, and had to deal with all the ants outside.

The ants didn’t kill me, trying to shoot over an ant right in front of me to effectively use a explosive shotgun round did.

I ALMOST had 1 shotgun skill.

MY last guy was on day 10 and had 2 cars and enough books and cbm’s to last a long time.
I was bored one day so I thought it would be entertaining to blow a gas station up.
So I walked to the pump and put a lighter to it thinking I would have enough time to run away but it blew up instantly.
And of course I have delete world upon death on. FML.

Turrets are my arch-nemesis, murders of many chars even successful ones, had a new char get to autumn, made their own plate armor, a few bionics and fairly well skilled, only to get a bullet to the head from a turret…my fault for not bringing a gun for turrets.

And then possibly die to the blast I time dilated and meleed turrets before, that char didn’t come out looking too pretty after that (took like 1/4 -1/2 of my health on every limb through survivor gear and alloy plating bionics).

I would say survivor armor is actually extremly good when going against turrets. for they rarely ever hurt me, and i could tank at least 10 securebots explosions

My last random character was a frail or fragile bionic agent. He died a very quick and strange (read: buggy) death. He found another shelter, right next where some soldier corpses and a heli crash site were. He managed to kill the only zombie soldier that somehow was still there. After collecting the loot he found an inactive turret!
He placed it to the north of the shelter but misprogrammed it. But since it had no ammo, it just beeped and clicked around without doing any harm. He tried to bash it with his heavy stick, but did no damage. Then he investigated the shelter’s basement. Empty. Then he went up and immediately was shoot to death by the turret.
What the hell? Where did the turret suddenly get its ammo from? xD

I guess this is one of the many problems that arise because C:DDA has no proper Z-level support yet.

Attempted to break into a military bunker with a scavenged rocket and a molotov cocktail. Success! But then again, the rocket was single use. HOW BREAK DOWN REINFORCED GLASS?
More molotovs. Burn the heretic glass! Smoke, fire and rubble everywhere. Couldn’t see. Get fire extinguisher from food/transport cart. Fight fire, see intact glass, try to escape. Burn to death.

I can’t recall a time I’ve ever died unintentionally tbh. Probably 'cause after spending a couple hours on a character I get bored with them and make another.

It was not a laser turret, it was a normal 9mm turret.

Here’s what happened: A NPC was watching you seen that you messed up the programming of the turret seen you walk down to the basement, went up to the turret reprogrammed it and gave it ammo so it will kill you and your stalker gets all your shit.

None of that probably happened but it’s better than turret procures ammo from nowhere.

I was walking along the road with my jerrycan of gasoline when I spotted a car, swiftly checking it I discovered it was a sports car in good shape, but out of gasoline.

A few minutes later I’m driving down the road at 700MPH drinking vodka, when I lose control of the vehicle and go through the windshield, I forgot to check to see if the seatbelt still worked…

At any rate, I didn’t survive the landing.
