Personally I havenât found triffids any harder. I rip nâ tear them and cook the remains over a fire same as before.

First time I survive until first night, so I raided the sporting goods for backpack.
Actually did it, even with a lot of wounds, sleep, and⌠Oh fuck, infected wound, and no bandages/first aid/disinfectant.

I am having a hell of a time starting in .6. Died a bunch my first day
- got beat up some. then had the brilliant idea of disarming a shotgun trap to get a shotgun. got shot in the head. (Im too clever for my own good). all this with no disarm skill
- started again and tried martial arts and unarmed for the first time ever. was doing ok, then a shocker came along. my level 1 melee did no damage to it. ran away. shocker then died on its own. i guess they take damage when they move? Picked up a cbm. got just outside my shelter. purified water. night came. had just a few hp left. 2 wolves killed me. dammit. i even had a pot this time. pots are harder to get now since zombies are in buildings around the edges
- died of starvation my first day. i thought you could go a day without water?

and on that delightful note an npc made me drop my bow i went to continue but i forgot i dropped the bow the npc stole my bow and shortly after did mele with it and crashed the game⌠then the game decided it wanted to crash the game a million times setting me back considerably. curse you game
when you die in a lab because you got very sad from eating fetuses and you get very depressed and you can see anything and you step on a 7

The Final Day of Chase Rodgers
I had my first successful character, he was camping out at a Public Works facility. I had everything I could possibly need there, except a welder and food. Hopeful I could find both, I set out early morning to the north as I had not explored there yet. I dodged a few Zs in the dark and finally escaped the town into the wilderness just as the sun was coming up. I was walking along minding my own business and a dog shows up, he followed me along annoyingly until I found a helicopter crash, I promptly looted it gaining some good stuff(not what I needed though). So I pressed on to the gas station further up the road.
At the gas station I was able to find some drinks(which I did not need as I had a water purification system). Disappointed I decided I would head back towards my base and find some animals to kill. I finally made it back to town(trapping the annoying dog back in the gas station). There were a few rabbits running around that I could not kill(I later realized this was because of the immense weight I was carrying). Defeated I ultimately decided just to go home and maybe get lucky killing something there. The zombies had a different idea.
I was walking along when I see a couple of Zs approaching. I had been pretty careful but I figured I could just outrun them. I began to run away when I noticed they were gaining on me. Fast. They were on top of me before I could do anything. I took some drugs only to see they did nothing to increase my speed. I finally realized I was being dragged down by the engine I was carrying(how I didnât notice earlier is beyond me). I quickly dropped everything and RAN. I ran and ran until another surprise arrived. A big fat letter B. He promptly relieved me of my life and I accepted fate.
I thought that running over a NPC was a good idea.
Mininuke. A single â:â left on torso. And then Jabberwock. I was happy that it wasnât a NinjaBearâ˘.

I thought that sleeping in the car that is parked in the forest was a good idea. I woke up to the sounds of my flesh being chewed by a Jabberwock. Also there was a Bear a few tiles away, I swear he was laughing at me.

My God, a conspiracy! Bears and Jabberwocks working together?! Truly, this is the end of times! Soon we will see bears mounted on Jabberwocks to run down even the fastest of drivers(I swear, if the devs add this in, nothing will be safe anymore.)Whatâs next, hulks with turrets embedded into them?

All of a sudden I open a door, wonât open, then the little saving bar comes up. Turns out I just ran right into a turret and it shot my face off. Thanks occasional saving.
Just decided to spend a night in hazadous waste sarcophag. There is nothing more to sayâŚ
Liam Moore, Super-Mutant Cyborg Behemoth died in a glorious maelstrom of nuclear fire. Having secured his city from the zombie infestation he was left with one foe that would prove too challenging to best. The entire western half of the city was completely overrun by the legion that is The Blob stemming from the most massive slime pit ever witnessed that had swallowed a hospital. He thought he was fully prepared - packed to the gills with incindiariares and high explosivesâŚit wasnât enough. Surrounded by countless blobs he activated his satchel of five mininukes salvaged from a military bunker and chanted away the countdown. As I walk through the valley of the shadow of deathâŚand then everything was bathed in white light.
I find the simple flame thrower good enough for turning slime pits to ashes reducing their spawn rates and if not satisfied well you can use map editor or something to cover that downward slope of the slime pit as well to stop them from spawning above ground
I had an NPC teach me everything it knows. Then I attempted to murder it with my new mad melee skills. Turns out I was not skilled enough to kill it quickly after all and ate several SMG bursts at point blank range. Next time, Iâll deal with loose ends by giving them a parting gift of active C4âŚ
