I don’t have any proof of the spire thing actually, I didn’t think to take a screencap. It was… well, just so easy. There is another not too far from where I am at the moment, i can do it again. I just made use of the fusion blaster rifle and obliterated it. Also, I’m parasite immune, so I think I don’t really have anything to worry about in the first place.
I really need to change out my prototype threshold for another, as I found out that all the prototype threshold mutations require masochist to get, which is beyond lame since it is impossible to mutate it. Never have I wanted to hack myself a mutation so badly.
Edit: I did the tank drone thing pre threshold, though prototype doesn’t seem to give you tank drone immunity as I recently found out when one appeared out of nowhere in the middle of town (no road block, no military stuff, just a random tank drone). Did quite a number on my fortress, hence why it was missing some of its military composite armor, haven’t had a chance to replace it yet.
Edit2: For those curious, my ride has 4 large storage batteries, 3 water tanks, two large electric engines, 4 NX-17 turrets, about 25 solar panels and 25 upgraded solar panels. Outside is heavy duty frame with military composite armor, except the front which is spiked armor… behind the spikes, in front of the military composite armor covered reinforced glass (no idea how that works, but it does). It contains ~1600 volume of guns, ammo, and misc melee weapons, ~1500 volume of armor, including light power armor. Some 5k random clothes I haven’t bothered to shred, about 3-4k in random spare vehicle parts, 2-3k worth of scrap metal, steel chunks and lumps, and various flashlights, broken bots, etc to disassemble. Roughly 2k volume of nonperishable food with 1k alcohol to wash it down. Several hundred volume worth of spare mutagens and CBMs (no idea why I have the extra CBMs, but I do). Few hundred volume worth of spare containers (jugs, bottles, jerry cans, etc). Over 2k worth of drugs and misc chemicals. Along with some personal effects, spare tools, and enough duct tape to rebuild the thing a couple times over, and a large number of other random things I’ve collected and started doing a very bad job of sorting properly.
