Try lighting a puddle of gas next to a wrecked vehicle. I’m 0/1 on surviving that one.

You can craft molotov cocktails too ya know. Or is your strategy specifically to spread gasoline and then setting it on fire?

If you really have too much gasoline, try filling a 200L barrel with it, lure zeds around it and make the barrel go boom.

Someone might be able to mod a water cannon from a firetruck to spray gasoline or diesel…
