Focus . what does it affect?

Can some fine soul tell me what focus is…i Imagine its exactly as it sounds but does it effect crafting and accuracy?

As far as I’m aware it just affects xp gain in the base game, in magicylsm it affects some spell chances too.

It affects skill experience and I also think it affects combat rolls as well.
