Finally decided to return after god knows how long...and naturally, the first thing I forget how to do is how to select a tileset

Yeah, the problem’s pretty self explanatory. When loading a new game as a fresh download I can’t find the option to use a tileset.

options>graphics>tilesets

Or do you mean console vs tilesets
because thats a different DL You’d need to move your save into a Tileset install

The option for Tilesets doesn’t show up for me at all when I go into Graphics. All I know is that I get this issue every time I download the game.

You should download Tiles version to use tiles - http://dev.narc.ro/cataclysm/jenkins-latest/Windows_x64/Tiles/.

He forgot to mention the x64 requires an x64 operating system. This is perhaps nothing to worry about. But if you are on a 32bit OS. Well. That is why the game would fail.
