Step one: Make tons of manhacks by failure in hacking Melchior
Step two: Try to kill them with Chain Lightning CBM

I had RM-13 Combat Armor turned on.

Giving Chain Lightning an excessive amount of targets is a known way to crash DDA. Creeper hubs are the traditional culprit.

There should be a limit of targets, no?

it should be able to handle any number of targets, most likey what is happening is it isn’t applying the flag that keeps it from targeting the same monster twice in som scenario.
