Crashing while minimized

Hi

The 0.C version will randomly crash while minimized after 30 seconds to a few minutes. So if I spend too long changing music or whatever I’ll lose progress. Didn’t have this issue 0.A at all which is the last version I used.

Using tiles on Win 7 in fullscreen mode. Avast antivirus runs in the background in silent mode, not sure if that will conflict.

I’ll add that if I alt tab back in sucessfully then most of the screen will be blank and need to be redrawn by going in and out of map-mode or crafting. This one is no big deal but might be related.

Hi Zrau. Yeah, I live with this problem too. It happens on every windows version, not just 7.

A workaround to that is to put in map-mode just before alt-tabbing. Doing this the game doesn’t crash to me. Also, when I come back, I just hit ESC and then it redraws the screen, workaround to the other problem you mentioned too.

Another workaround to force redraw is to bring up the map.

Also, why are you still on 0.C? Experimentals have brought A TON of good stuff. And more stability. The redraw problem is still there, but you probably won’t crash

Thanks, I’ll try the map mode trick.Hopefully that will work for me too. I just prefer to use full release versions so I can read a changelog and stuff and it’s easier to find.
