How to clean things like helmets, flasks and ect?
Try using a sponge or a rag (and water + cleaning agent, of course).

Other items that would also work:
dish towel, scrub brush and a washing kit, as well as a dishwasher for vehicles.

Tried using soapy water to clean a rucksack this morning. Activated the soapy water and ended up drinking it 
Didn’t know I activated the washboard
