For now just place it at the bottom of data/json/items/ranged.json just after the } of the last weapon add a , and paste it in.
if i can work out how GIT works it will be posted there.

As its a strait copy of the flintlock pistol it need abit of tuneing, my idea is for it to be basicy a Colt Walker so it should fairy power full.

They’re PR’d in redice’s Old Guns Mod. As soon as redice takes care of a few things (chiefly, signs off on it ) we/I will PR the thing and they’ll be available as default-enabled content. If for whatever reason you can’t handle having 'em around, you can disable the pack on worldgen.

You have to find them. Maybe looking around in the houses of some rich people(hint, hint) might help.
