0.9-2872-gc25fd4d - big weight bug

I have version 0.9-2872-gc25fd4d.
I think there is a bug with weight calculation.
I have 42/65 volume and kinfe psear in my hands. I’ll try to get steel frame (it says that I’ll be having volume 102/65). So, I get a message that I just have to drop knife spear to pick it up. I press Y.
What do I have? I’d drop knife spear, I’d pick up steel frame. What about my volume? It’s 42/65 now! Ok. I choose drop sttel frame. It says that I’ll be have volume: -18/65.
I drop it. My volume? It’s now 42/65 again!

Putting that frame into your inventory would bring you above the volume capacity (102/65).
Wielded items don’t count for the volume capacity, so wielding it would be fine.
The menu at this point doesn’t know if you are going to wield it and assumes it goes into the main inventory and this would lead to an volume of 102.
