so i’m in the surface level of a hazardous waste sarcophagus, i’ve got on TWO cleansuits, but i’m still taking rads. i thought they were supposed to protect me?
EDIT: does your radiation level go down over time, or are you doomed once your radiation badge reads black?

The cleansuit and AEP suit block 33% of incoming environmental radiation. It’s not perfect but it’s better than going unprotected.
The hazmat suit and the NBC suit protect you from environmental radiation completely.
Radiation exposure slowly goes away on its own over time, if you can survive for that long, which can be vastly accelerated by eating iodine tablets and/or using a radiation scrubber bionic.
