With all the updates, when do I know it’s time for a new map?
Will there be a notice, will the map just not load if it’s not valid, or will I eventually run into wierd stuff?
You will run into weird stuff. When your backpack turns into a cracked wool sock with only 12 charges left, you know something went weird.
If I don’t specifically mention saves being compatible, then you should generate a new map.
I just gen a new one every time i die. and i replace everything every update.
Well that works considering I usually die the second day, but I can’t imagine wiping everything once I can get a character to be 10 days old.
You could just play it until death then get the new version. or have the new version seperate.
