What's Happening in YOUR Randomly-generated Apocalypse?

When I started this world my starting NPC had a Jaberwock quest. I know how suicidal that usually is for a starting character so I just said nope and left him to it. Later I picked up an NPC follower with some skill with guns and handed her a submachine gun I’d found in a gun basement and I went back thinking, what the hell let’s see if I can bag a Jaberwock. Since I’m fighting melee with a cutlass I drop a codeine because I’m sure my pain is about to soar through the roof and an adderall because I’m going to need to be fast. And I make a couple malatovs but it turns out the Jaberwock is in a heavily forested area so I’m saving those for later. So we’re tromping around the forest at night looking for the beast and all of a sudden there it is practically nose to nose with us. Before I can scream Leroy Jenkins and start swinging the NPC opens up and it catches a full auto burst or two at point blank range and goes down without even scratching either of us. So the moral of the story is go hunting Jaberwocks with full auto and good aim. Hell, she only had a two in submachine guns and marksmanship.

Aurore Murray i killed the jabberwock "he killed the jabberwock with much impunity with his maching gun.

Good job.

The fungle coconut tree on fungle whale’s back!

I thought it was a lone dissector of a sinking lab.

So far my schizophrenic high school student has found two separate helicopter crash sites, one of them with two CBM’s, a military ruck sack, an MVR vest (I forget the type of plates but it does have plates in it already), and a pair of army pants. And an antique store with a real jian and an elephant gun (no ammo for it though). What she hasn’t found yet is any thorazine even after raiding a nearby pharmacy.

Hospitals. Gotta go to hospitals.

PKs Magical Journey

Im considering restarting. Back south and west is a large town I havent been able to get around because I was too weak to risk it in my beater truck. North is unknown. I could fieldhop, but I dont like doing so unless I have to.

what a journey of the mundane. But checkout that swamp spawned LMOE. Areal pain to get, cuz also ants.
And I know you cant quite see it but that blue cross and parking lots is a megastore that spawned. In the swamp.

With that much armor and a jian I just might be able to survive one.

I wouldn’t bank on that. Acid Zombies and Spitters EVERYWHERE

bring a “friend” to “die for you” works 50% of the time all the time.

wear ribber boots.

easy to find and cheap

so my 1 year old survivor has a log shack in the forest , pretty cozy
next to that are 6 9x9 plots of weed plants , still okay
after each harvest i go to the refugee center and sell them the weed and buy everything
i’m pretty much a drug dealer

Late day 01, forced from town by a horde and then acid rain and then fireside acid rain battle and I really miss the days of acidic rain damage to mons and fires spreading under acid rain conditions :frowning:

Still, a survivor was me, and I raided a pawn shop and a sports store under the nose of zombies I rolled lucky and they werent all at the stores, and I burned down a building as a noise distraction.

I then spent the day hopping houses and got forced out of town a second time by a coming horde … into a trapdoor spider nest. Which, I should say, is both my own making and exceptionally dangerous. And to top it off an ‘alpha trapdoor spider’ found me. King Shit chased me across the map but I manage to scare it off with fire. And then more zombies and I managed to kite them into a wolf pack by circling around them after being rad poisoned by a Last Stand Basements smoldering zombie.

Now Im at a cemetery and the acid rain came again. Again, Id like to see it demoralize creatures or even hurt them; the flavors all wrong otherwise.

Anywho, an acidic zombie is to the north, and the hordes are hovering to the south, and Im kind of stuck in a pavilion at the moment …
Well, its more technically an open-air mourning area for [family name].

public cemeteries are rare spawns, so Im appreciating my work, organically, for one of the first times.

This has only gotten better as I raided a school.

not for books, but for healing supplies. I was biteded. So I found some jelly. And it was dark by the time I got out. And I was finally satiated.

And then I walked south and east towards a lone electronics store in the distance, on the outskirts of town. And suddenly lost souls.

And suddenly survivor zombie. Suddenly survivor zombie that avoids fires. And suddenly imps. Suddenly I kited one into the other and ran. And suddenly demons. And now I have a flashlight.

Much dramah. Including a hell knight busting down the wall of the electronics store. But I have a flashlight and UtH and I have royal jellies and I have food and drink and I have hope. Hold the hope.

I’m in a necropolis. I forgot how much fun it is to kill irradiated wanderers. They all charge you at once, no funny business, and they melt away when you kill them! That said I now have over 1500 radiation.

Dawn Day 01.

I found a folding bicycle. GGWP

Activated RM13 combat armor negates radiation.

No it doesn’t. I think radioactive gas bypasses radiation protection.

Whaaat? This is weird then. It could be a bug but I’m not too sure. In any case, I suppose firearms would be best in this situation. Mutations sound like fun, too.

So does prussian blues and iodine tablets.
