My cargo dimension induced kleptomania is reaching epic proportions.

I don’t read much now that I have all the recipes, but I don’t NOT need every single book in this library. I don’t eat anything more complicated than like scrambled eggs, but I don’t NOT need every single ingredient in this pizza shop. I barely use any weapon besides my A7, but I don’t NOT need every kind of gun and bullet in the world.

Is that a minefield? I’d better dig up the mines in case I need them someday. When the hell am I ever going to use throwing knives? Beats me but I’d better take them. I don’t even drink but I may as well pick up all the booze I see.

Day 44, spring.

Bolstered by the fact that I killed my first Z master (and by the fact that tainted tornado gave me Very Strong, Smart, Dextrous and HNV), I went out to the spot in the outlying town I’d marked Z. Turns out there was not one, but THREE Z masters there. I used all my pebbles plinking at them. The half-wrecked ambulance the Zs left behind had a d*mn stethoscope - but I still don’t have a welder or reasonable means to make one.

I do that except with a base with containers instead of a cargo dimension. Filling a wardrobe with one type of each clothing I’ll never use. Cooking up all the cannibal meal types to put on display. Making a bar area stocked with food as well as a dining table with plates and chairs. Ornamental plate armor lined up as decorations.

Found a new ice lab in a more favorable location. I’ll still do my farming on the current ice lab base, but I got something different in mind with that second ice lab. I plan to build a base; break down all the walls in ground level and make a wider base in that place. May happen in the third year of the game, if I’m still running this playthrough.

This! minus the cargo dimensión. I already did this with cargo containers, I gather seasonings and alcoholic drinks even though I can’t eat anything but mycus fruits, I gather every single weapon and tool unless I already have that model, repeated tools will then be disassembled unless I want to keep more in my recharging station, I double check to have picked up every single mine of a minefield, glass bottles? Yes all of them. I go into every house and disassemble the oven, refrigerator and terminal if any to get the less common components. I pile all of this next to my moving base and mark the spot on a map before deciding what stock to keep of each item. I go around syphoning every single car of gasoline that I then pile up in the nearest gas station after restocking too, If I’m making time until next season then I also remove the batteries to disassemble and gather the materials to make small storage batteries for rechargeable mods.

Almost done clearing out the entire anthill. So far, the Sluggernaut has at least 3,000 chunks of meat. That’s not counting stomachs, and chitin.

If I ever move bases and bring all my stuff, that’d mean that it has to be done in winter. Unless I smoke the meat, or turn it into jerky.

Clearly you need to make a full set of chitin armor. To beat the bugs, you must become the bugs.

Ant hill cleared. Around 800 ant eggs, 900 stomachs, and 3.5k chunks of meat. Plus 900 chitin, and some honey combs, royal jelly, and some fusion blaster arms. I’ve always assumed that those CBMs are the remains of some poor sap who didn’t have enough bionic energy to stop the ants from munching him/her.
