What's Happening in YOUR Randomly-generated Apocalypse?

Let’s see, were you here when they brought back the version of gunstores with vending machines?

Alternatively, there’s laundromats…ooh, tons of new styles of park.

And some Fun things if you use Arcana mod. owo

Okay now. How long do I need to wear these fucking splints?

Playing the alter ego.
Ventured beyond the cabin, saw a crossroads and a cabin close by. Went to said cabin, found some clothes and of course, delicious food in the plot. Picked them all up and this means I don’t have to fear starvation/thirst anymore. On my road back to the cabin to drop the stuff off.

Day 1, evening.

No skills to speak of, yet. Lvl 2 throwing and survival.

new world, new character, new hordes

i had realy lucky spawn (missed scenario, its actualy easier than evacue) its boarded home with garage and WORKING solar car, trifids and public works at west, slime pit at south and anthill at east, good that i decided to spend 1 point on mechanic skill, after i get basic supplies i will reinforce garage

EDIT: (because i made double post)

it take some time spend it crafting things like forge katanas, craft arrows, turn gallon drumm of salt water into salt, make bigger car, make few smaller cars

As dawn breaks on Day 20, I continue work on my deathmobile, the Tiburon (“Shark”)
An electric-powered 5x12 deathmobile constructed primarily from the salvaged parts of a solar car (interior and solar panels), electric SUV (15" wheels, exterior frame, engine), and a car (15" wheels, exterior frame, seats), the Tiburon is separated into three sections-- the cockpit, which is fairly self-explanatory, the staging area, which holds essential tools and equipment, as well as loot picked up on expedition, and also provides rapid egress from the vehicle. Finally, the living quarters are in the aft area (because when your car is the size of a billionare’s yacht, you’d better start using nautical terms), which stores non-essential equipment, crafting areas, and a bed. I’ve yet to retrieve a kitchen unit or refrigerator from an RV, but they’ll be going back there as well.

my mobiles are mostly three of tow parts cockpit, repair tools and crafting rigs(moslty integrated into cockpit) and cargo (biggest part of vehicle)

… Riding along in my bike, thinking how awesome it’s gonna be when I don’t have to pedal this thing anymore. Shit, crashed into a vehicle, wait, that thing’s huge–oh. It’s an atomic minitank, with almost full batteries. What was that about my bike?

While testing some work I was doing, I literally just spawned with the common cold.

Killed a moos by whacking it with rhubarb on day one

That’s not how you make rhubarb meat pie. o3o

i was wishing it was that way, my poor character was starving
unwilling mutant experiment i find can be quite a hard start if your not lucky

and on that note of luck

Holy jackpot, Batman! o.o

i know! there’s 106 different items there including the stuff from the zombies (butchered) and to think i was struggling just recently

i feel a little overwhelmed

Forged a proper steel spear and started getting used to rolling around in power armor with my cargo-space-shopping-cart dragged behind me. Decided to finally start moving my base from the back half of a house I’ve been holed up in over to a nearby regional school, which has forest access. While clearing out the local block I managed to find a basement full of melee weapons and guns, so that’s awesome. Ammo is still scarce, so I’ll have to use them sparingly, but it’s nice to have access.

dang there goes my luck large zombie horde, jumped me outside my base, including a shocker brute and a few necromances

im too surounded by zombies but when i sneak under cover of darkness its not that bad

You can also thin out some of the horde if you’re careful - and generally well-equipped/skilled enough to deal with them.

Though, in general, in starts with hordes enabled, it’s best to wander far from spots you wanna explore near the start point, and generally hope you can find temporary shelter to sleep in. Evac shelter basements come in handy. Sleep, get out at night, run the hell away from the area, then move into another area and repeat process.

Blargh. On my journey to the refugee center, I’m encountering those groups of human corpses - scientists and soldiers with nice loot, but I got no storage or time and skill to process those meat into jerky or aspic.

Argh. Forest toward the refugee center is a triffid grove.

Not argh. Outpost area right next to refugee center.

Refugee center seems to be bugged. Two NPCs are outside, and the merchant is in a wall.

Found one of those barricaded houses, with the windows boarded up. Thinking of spawning in some npcs to interact with. Might roll a d6 to determine how many.
