You know that part where you’ve played long enough that you have a survivor suit and a deathmobile that could fight godzilla and everything is seeming a little passe? Man that is a great time to go into the file and manually turn on hordes. So much carnage.
3x turbolaser turrets from the vehicle pack are a mass corpse-eraser.
You can do this!?
I was considering that. But how do you manually turn them on like this?
Having to take the most back-assward way to recover some weapons, ammo, and 2x4s from a hatchback I crashed in the middle of nowhere. Since there’s more than one trip there and back if I went on foot, I’m taking Spare Parts (everybody’s favorite aptly-named farm tractor) and having to go aaaaall the way around this big-ass forest. ;~;
I’ve now returned to my shelter, dropped off my stuff, and rested up.
I’ve carefully picked out my gear for an expedition to the south.
I’m carrying little more than an L39 handgun with two magazines’ worth of ammunition, a wakizashi sword (a little too flashy for my taste, but it’s the best melee weapon on hand right now), some basic foodstuffs and an MRE, plus some various medical supplies (first-aid kits, bandages, and antibiotics, plus some caffeine pills.) I’ve got about 125 slots for picking up loot, so this should be fun!
I just saw NPC shooting herself and dying after being approached by moose.Her gun was powerful enough to kill moose in 6 seconds,that’s some stupidity.
Not pictured here I also have a suit, a monocle, a fancy wrist watch, a gold bar, a silver bar, 10 bundles of money, a survivor utility belt, and a rapier.

I have a gigantic nuclear powered vehicle that is essentially a rolling mansion/bulldozer/military outpost, does that count?
Admittedly not a very large mansion, but I do have every luxury except a swimming pool in it, including a full library and a bed that could comfortably fit nine people.

In other words, you’re living in your car like a homeless person! :o This is not how a gentleman lives.

Well, now you know what to do. Go find a swimming pool and make with the concrete!
Dead again. It never fails. If I spend a few days/weeks gathering the mats and building up a good vehicle, my character is sure to die soon after. Every time.
This time I had the vehicle nearly ready and went out to find some more parts in areas I’d mostly cleared. Saw a hulk, which is usually game over since I usually go melee but this time I’d been building up bow and doing better than ever with it, and was ready. Had it nearly dead. And a tankbot nuked us both to death. Amazingly frustrating.

I just did an epic commando raid on a bee hive and came out with multiple pieces of royal jelly, about 50 honeycombs, all the bee meat I could ever eat, and a pile of ammo.
Turns out you can use a spare magazine mod to make a double barreled flintlock weapon.
