Maximum derp. All I know is you’d expect that would royally fuck up inflatable boats since unfolding vehicles places the section with the controls on the space you’re standing on, which would likely be on land or shallow water.
EDIT: Slowly peppered all the turrets to death and claimed the outpost, awoke to discover this was yet another island…
My current hobo is holed up in a sewage plant. After a 3 day drive from a refugee centre being overwhelmed by a colossal horde of zombies. I grabbed some lighters and clothing and drove as fast i could. Stopping along the way to get clean water. Snoozing in the truck overnight . Waking to fight off a tough zombie that tore a hole in the body of the vehicle. Mowed down a ton of zombies along the outside of a town. Before finding this place in the woods. Since then I’ve been fending off small hordes of the dead. Practising up my combat skills with a knife spear. Some basic armour and keeping light and mobile otherwise. Steadily building up resources. Got a makeshift bed set up beside the console. Which I use for sewing and a little night time reading before bed/crafting. Should shape up into a fun survivor base once I level some building and get some lumber chopped. Several funnels and large waterskins set out to collect water. It’s a bit rough but having fun so far. Planning to start raiding town soon. Hopefully find some labs to use these 2 keycards on and get looting those too.
I hope what ever was in there is worth the struggle… I hope you have fun swimming back 
Swimming is for chumps. Teleported. And I found…some okay bionics on a bio-operator, and an Eskrima manual.
Also, I fucking FORGOT that I’d edited hand paddles to count as controls, THAT was the cause of the vanishing boats. Just giving them a “bonus” property fixed that.

Just build a new boat (That Ragnar Could Fesibly Build) in a new world with debug to see if you actually fixed it…
It seems that if you mod oars to serve as controls, you need a seat too. Just in case I’m gonna test it without my crazy modding to make absolutely sure that boats don’t vanished in un-fucked-with Cataclysm.
EDIT: Tested it with normal Cataclysm and boatmod, latest experimental. Canoe still vanished. I was RIGHT TO BEGIN WITH.
After long break tried latest experimental, new world and character, after some time got masive amout of damage to the head but survived some time later i hotwired car and drove away from mainson to my base because my driving skills was so bad i just destroyed my car by smashing a wall of mainson (and now im deaf) but i managed to find new car and get back to base but when i was unloading my stuff i suddeny died with last message “your head feels chilly” or something like that
I was gonna stay in the shelter for abit instead of try and live in the town right from the start. But a zombie brute came to the shelter, and the NPC had a flamethrower… So much for that idea…
Today i’ve met a tank drone for the first time. I’ve thought a bit about what to do and decided:
turned on uncanny dodge, advanced defense unit, dielectric capacitance, and a couple other bionics, then i turned on the artificial night generator, got close to the drone and hacked it with my trusty control laptop.
Now i have a friendly tank drone.
I always get bored with my adventurers…oh well. New survivor to test my medieval mod again…
I was sent to slay a jabberwock. Guess what? I think statting out medieval swordsmanship’s displace-and-counter as a defensive move like with fencing’s riposte MIGHT be a tad OP. Bloody thing knocked my on my ass, and I proceeded to slaughter it via displacing and countering every single hit. >.>

Just had a Zombie Hulk go all Kool-Aid Man on me from the backroom of a museum after I finished breaking into the last display. He slammed straight through the wall right in front of me and threw me into a display case. Then after I dispatched him a Zombie Necromancer in the backroom immediately raised him and he proceeded to throw me again, this time through the wall next to where he made his dynamic entry and into the backroom. Now that they’re both dead and I only got a couple of old army and navy revolvers out of the museum, I think it’s time to take a break and read some books for the next couple days.
Shame you don’t have a friend with you that has some cool looking Power Armour…
