What's Happening in YOUR Randomly-generated Apocalypse?

There’s a few dozen more zombies in the nearby forest. A few NPCs too, and they were the only ones I looted for meat. That graveyard of loot shall stay there as a testament to other survivors. Call it a boast and a threat.

Needs a couple signs around the perimeter:

Clear fields
Brought to you by:
Azrad

It’s a nice sign, but the fields aren’t exactly clear. Clear of upright things, certainly. Clear of moving things, most definitely, but there’s piles of used clothing and bones all over the place and such.

Huehuehue.

Also, funny that Azrad’s nudged Chezzo into a tileset update while I’m working on one for MShock Modded. o3o

I’ve definitely been spoiled by the pneumatic assault rifle. Switched to the Rivtech handgun, not the revolver or automagnum, and the damage it deals is pretty small compared to the rifle. Like at using that gun and hitting enemies at the max range of the rifle doesn’t kill some zombies, where it was headshots from each shot from the rifle.

Becoming a barbarian and testing the Stats Through Skills mod. So far it’s not very broken. Despite what the modinfo claims, starting stats seem to be unaffected.

Yeah, well if you can by reading only you can get your int from 8 -> 22 (and then you die) can just wonder how high one could go…
EVEN in it’s current state it makes the game a bit more intresting.

So once I start gaining skill level-ups, THEN the shenanigans will ensue?

Has your Barbarian Character slept yet? It seemed to change after you wake up from sleeping…

Yes, unless you happen to die.

When night falls, I’ll see if Gorham’s stats go all wonky when I sleep.

Yes, unless you happen to die.[/quote]

Death is ALWAYS shenanigans in this game.

EDIT: Hardware basement, electronic gun safe and…what. A metric shitload of guns and ammo in one of the lockers.

Long Screenshot is long:

And a talking doll.

You wanna bet that the gun safe will have a grand total of maybe one unloaded gun?

This guy had some seriously wonky priorities.

Bargh. Going near the refugee center crashes the game. I won’t be able to open up the outpost near my base, and aside from the ice lab under my base, that was the other reason why I wanted to turn that into a base in the first place.

Gorham now has more guns than he knows what to do with. Not quite enough ammo to go zombie hunting.

EDIT: Oh! It seems starts are calculated at midnight? Weird. Went from straight-8s to 11 strength, 9 dexterity, and 9 intellect.

EDIT 2: Dare I ask why a fat zombie dropped a brick kiln?

EDIT 3: And if you reference the song, I will eat you. :V

Finally got around to making some medical serum. Got Pain Resistance and Pain Recovery… and Chemical Imbalance. Lucky but obnoxious. It would seem that using mutagen makes you a trait train wreck. Something to mess around with once I get a lot of purifier though.

I got an inflatable boat. I really should toy with them.

Fill im up with 7.62s, grab your trusty M60 and mod your Mp3 only to play Wagner’s Flight of the Valkyries and then just row, row, row your boat gently down the river?
(Yes, I know, you need a choppa, but gotta use what you got.)

Or I could make boat boards and acquire a viking longboat.

VOORWAARTS!
Over de zeeën!
VOORWAARTS!
Nehalennia!

EDIT: Summer start is proving to be an odd choice. On the one hand, my barbarian isn’t scrambling for warm clothes. On the other hand, I have to be careful what armor I choose. Sticking to just my default loincloth, bone armor boots/gauntlets, and trading the fur hat for a cowboy hat has proved good enough though.

EDIT 2: I should’ve made Gorham illiterate, at this rate he’s gonna be smarter than he is strong.

EDIT 3: Night raid on an outpost. There we go, half the mil-spec turrets are down…

EDIT 4: The outpost is mine, and my strength is now 12. Muahahah.

Grgh. No choice but to create a new character now. Sucks a lot.
