Hmm. Trying to remember if a solar-powered roller can put out that much whupass…
Buggering ant hills and hidden queens. Found an ant hill next to a nearby lab. Since I don’t wanna wade through a lab filled with ants and blobs due to ants stepping on a goo pit, I went there to raid eggs. Big ant hill, but no queen. Usually that means there’s some sort of bug and the game realizes there’s no queen and ants would start to despawn, I think. So I go to the lab, and lo and behold, it’s filled with ants.
I go to the anthill and dig through the edges of the map. Sure enough, there’s a hidden chamber with an ant queen and a room filled with ants.
Don’t do that, it sounds painful. o3o
My first ever heist of a strange temple, i got a Dagger of Hideous illusions that gives +4 dex just for being in my backpack, causes bad weather and noise on activation, and a Heavy Sword of Forgotten Dreams which increases thirst and ocassionaly biles me with ectoplasm, and the activation randomly teleports me and flashbangs the area arround. The dagger is a keeper for sure, just 4 volume for 4 dexterity with minimal drawback of worse weather.

Doesn’t sound as bad as incendiary masturbation, though.
Just wait until the game has giant fire ants.
Current playthrough has had me using my starting hobo booze as molotovs to distract a horde then double back around the forest as the flames consume a section of the forest I’d set alight along with a HUGE amount of zombies. Managed to clear an apartment block out and proceeded to scavenge and barely survive detox. Now skirting the periphery of nearby hordes picking off stragglers and weeding out the edge of the town to the north. Lots of ants to the south to keep me fed for time being. Setting up funnel and containers to collect rain whilst I build up materials. Also got Z levels on. It’s pretty nifty so far. Working towards a proper scavenging run in the nearby town to get tools I need to fix up a solar car outside the apartment building as an emergency getaway in case any more hordes stray my way.
Holy shit. Marloss berries? Got to hunt for them now.
The last screen is funny.
Old fungi men, running the world.
The problem with trees is that they don’t really take damage… unless you do enough of it, at which point they shatter. Vehicles, in turn, can lose control even at low speeds, which is what happens eventually when you ram trees repeatedly. You might even end up getting stuck in a bad position after “sliding out of control”, forced to either step out and chop down the trees blocking your movement or risk damaging unintended parts of the vehicle if you decide to break free with brute force, by increasing throttle. You can’t really “mow” trees like they’re grass. You ram them one after another, and while doing so, your vehicle will sustain substantial damage. It’s the sort of damage that’s OK if there’s only 1-3 trees.
Trees are nasty tough. Seriously, they’re even immune to most weapons, including turbolaser turret (50 damage + explosion). You can shoot a tree all you want, but if you’re not doing enough damage, it’s not going to go away.
If anyone can think of a weapon that’s economically viable for tree removal, do tell.[/quote]
Fusion rifle - the one you make from the Fusion Arm CBM. It uses 4 bionic power every shot. I get near a fungal bloom and just hold ‘f’…
I guess I’ll be turning around
I’ve been running through this lab and injecting every mutagenic serum I could find. Now I have Carnivore, Chitinous Armour (it had been Ch.Skin prior to mutating into armour), Disease Resistant, Extremely Strong, Feline Eyes, Feline Vision (this one just like the Very High NV it had replaced requires to be enabled manually, interesting), Forked Tongue, Pale Skin, Pain Resistant, Terrifying and Web Walker. Whoa.
Now a question. Is it possible for Carnivore to mutate further and be able to eat raw meat?
Wow that’s…huh. owo

You can already eat raw meat. What is it you mean exactly?
You can not eat raw meat riskfree unless your imune to parasites.
There would still be the morale penalty, I suspect. Unless Carnivore affect that in the same way Psychopath nullifies the cannibalism penalty.
It did not do that the last time i was unfortunate enough to get that mutation.
edit:
The only bonus for eating meat as a carnivore i can remember was getting more health bonus from it.
As logically eating meat is a blanced diet for a carnivore .
Ooh, that at least would mitigate the likely health penalty.
So just get Parasite Immune and have Fun.
No cook it and have fun :/.
It tastes better then.
++ moral == ++ fun
Trust me if any carnivore knew how good a cook i was theyd come and have me cook theire kills.
Maybe. Plus you can cook quite well if you had dragonfire? XP
I’ll need to see if the high-level traits like Predator affect it maybe.
Huh. Seems like there’s an engine made from vortex stones. Spiral stones can be used, but I reckon I won’t touch those with a fifty-thousand foot pole.
