Dayum. Almost got killed there by a katana wielding maniac. Came out of the spiral with a shiny new vortex stone, and all of a sudden my head is on the red and there’s an NPC in front of me. Probably been driven insane by the spiral cavern.

With or without carnivore/predator mutation the moral penalty for eating raw meat stays the same .
Maybe the mutation paths could need a little loving huh? Only Ka101 actually works on mutations as far as i know.

Also, I got curious and made another playthrough to test if having heavy power armor on will keep me alive if I detonated an externally mounted gas tank. It did, but somehow the explosion isn’t as big as the one Random Dragon posted. Am I missing something, or was it nerfed? Fully loaded gas tank, flare gun with signal flare.
Did you use an externally mounted fuel tank? Those things hold like four times as much gas as regular tanks, thus the ridiculous explosion. Unless they fixed it in the latest experimentals?
Yep. Externally mounted fuel tank, full gas. Explosion filled the non-zoomed-in screen and all, but only that far. Point blank, it’s fatal most of the time on heavy power armor, but survivable on a decent enough range.
Huh, odd. It could be nerfed, maybe.

EDIT: The fungal spire is feeling very confused. The hedgerows are friendly and attacking any tendrils that grow nearby, while the tower and tendrils are hostile to me us. We think we broke the Mycus.
EDIT 2: And the hedgerows are trying to murder the tower too. Dafuq.
Sounds cool but i am simply downing a dosis of antifungal drugs while cleaning the mycus stains.
I might just do what you suggested for it sounds more impressive. (is that the right climactic oO… i am not good doing that in english… not my fault ofc its the language thats at fault)
I think my Mycus is broken.
