Hospital start. NPC was wielding a katana, and managed to persuade him to follow me and teach me dodging. Pretty much had him kill everything inside and out, and surprisingly he didn’t bother to nab any loot. Once everything was cleared out, found a corpse of an NPC with a M4A1. Thanked the katana-wielding NPC for his services by gunning him down.

…I’m a mean jerk.
Sooooo… how delicious was he?
Well, even if all that guy could be was a cooked creep, it’s hot food for a spiritual cannibal psycho. So around a 77 gain in morale.
Skin him first. It’s the only way to make sure. Hell, I’m pretty sure throwing a lit molotov cocktail just a tile beside him is indirect and doesn’t count as a hostile action towards the NPC. If he’s part of your group, you can then keep pushing him into the fire until he dies. You can also push him into a landmine, and probably a spiked pit as well.
As for me and my LP attempt… stuck at making introductions. I suck at those in writing, so naturally I’ll suck at it on a LP. Go figure. Maybe I should write out my introductory spiel first before I get to the gaming part…

I put lava right next to the hut. May try to do the skinning + cutting process in one swoop.
You should do some roleplay on the let’s play, would be awesome
I feel like an idiot for not noticing it sooner… But, yeah it turns out you can. From the vehicle menu you can l’a’bel any spot on your car. This is going to make organizing loot on the go so much easier.
Usual start in the evac shelter. Decided to check out if there is something else on the console besides that message. Boom, it gives the refugee centre’s location. And it’s not too far from the shelter.
Not too far it wasn’t. The area between the shelter and the RC happened to be quite densely populated. I don’t have hordes enabled and I loathe to think what will happen should I enable them — there are already large crowds of zeds roaming in towns. I had to backtrack almost to the initial shelter from one whilst shooting the buggers with my AK (which I then managed to lose, shame on me).
There was also a FEMA camp nearby. Drove there on a recently recovered car, lured the zeds out, ran over them all. Got myself an L12 Defender and — oi! — Barret M107. The latter was just fine to plonk all the turrets in the vicinity under night’s cover. Goodbye you shiny metal sods.
I made it to the RC only to hear ‘Fuck off we’re full’. Despite that, they didn’t seem to mind me loitering and sleeping around, as well as taking the supplies. So I have a comfy temporary base now. And a whole town to loot.
