What's Happening in YOUR Randomly-generated Apocalypse?

Huh, odd. I thought the cap used to be 20. O.o

On 0.C I don’t think there is a cap. Because I just kept leveling mechanics, it’s at 30 on one of my old road warrior characters.

Ah. Might just be my derping due to the cap in the debug skill menu being 20.
Seriously, my melee damage has just went through the roof all of a sudden. The bayonet attached to my rifle is exploding zombies for 300 damage.

So… what’s going on?
Fixed a bug that zeroed all piercing damage.

Fixed it with such vigor that you can implode enemies with pointy sticks, it seems. Or maybe it just doesn’t mesh with skills above the apparently-new caps.

The damage got way too high though. Prior to switching to experimental, I could sometimes kill a zombie brute with 100 damage. Now that’s regular, with some damage going up to 200-300 now. Most zombies get completely vaporized, which never happened before on that weapon. The only time I saw the death explosion was with niten with a katana.

“Omae wa mou shindeiru.”

Encountered different types of zombies in a mansion. Finally.

Ooh. o.o

Also, I should remember to save my “broken cyborg” mod so I don’t forget it next time I update.
Or beat everything with carp corpses. Or giant carp corpses.

Do unbutchered corpses eventually rot away? I’m getting ideas…
Yes, they definitely do. Try a lab start, sometime… you’ll be very sad when those corpse rot away (actually, you’ll be sad when they rot at all, as you need the food…)

But yeah, if you leave a pulped corpse lying around a while, it does rot away. Experienced it with shockers and the like (which is so very sad).

Ninjitsu with edged weapons does it pretty regularly, too.

Butbutbut…then how can I clobber foes with giant carp corpses? ;A;

An observation about zombie slaves ( unconfirmed )
I’ve chopped up a couple of em and loaded em onto a cargo carrier for transport
upon unloading, they’ve never got back on their feet :frowning:

all i wanted was to light my base using shocker zombies… :’(

Hmm. Bug from stored zslave corpses, or maybe now neutering them now has a chance of rendering the corpse unable to revive?

Odd. Went to the old guard guy for the bandit base mission. Map couldn’t find one, so all of a sudden a lone bandit wielding a nail board appeared in the center, right next to my character.

Mission complete.

Well that is pure derp.

Now, to finish looting this gun store, and see if I can find anything new in the area. Bork Borg might even have a solar-powered truck soon.

Was this planned all along?
THE LIZARD MEN ARE COMING.

I’ve experienced something similar. Already killed the bandits at the location before receiving the mission, went to the location and lo and behold, there’s another bandit.

No Joxer. You are the lizards.

EDIT: Large power station, overrun with fungaloids. Because I am a wimp, no shocker brute. Damn, not even any technicians?

EDIT 2: Swiggity swooty, I found a refugee center.
