Yeah, I wasn’t hurt by falling into the water, but I had a full military rucksack of supplies to sustain me for a few days of scavenging, plus armor/clothes/weapons and I sank like a rock. It was the one scenario I’d never thought of or planned for. And yeah, I’ve tried making bullets but can never seen to find the right recipe. My cooking skill is no problem (usually get it up to about 9 or 10) I just can’t figure out what the recipe is

It was such a shame too. I fought off an entire horde at my LMOE shelter, opening the door and blasting flamethrower flame out to bake and crispy the zombies, before shutting the door and doing it again and again. I even had jugs of gasoline in preparation for that very problem. As soon as that hulk hit me, and I went under the water, I got this sinking feeling like “oh my god…no”

Issue is most ammo recipes aren’t autolearned.

Just for the heck of it, murderized a triffid heart by beating it on the head… well, heart, with a triffid corpse. Those things are surprisingly pretty light.

Also killed a giant fungal blossom via fungal zombie. A bit tougher due to the weight.

As I finished taking all the gas from a gas station, I accidentally blew it up while driving out, so I got to a safe distance from town, while waiting for all dat pain to go down I was attacked by a chipmunk.

Rather then just throwing something at it, I ended up tazing and killing it.

Which seems a bit messed up really, who goes around tazing chipmunks?

Probably the same person who gets attacked by them really.

Well, if we go about it logically, killing a small creature in-game via tazer is the perfect solution since it doesn’t seem to miss, and you can kill them that way without turning them into an exploded mess.

Also, back from my raiding trip. Once I’ve organized all my stuff that I looted, it’s time to bring this world into experimental.

That said, found a couple more things. One survival under atomic attack, which seems ridiculously rare since this is the first time I ever saw this book. Aside from that, rare ammo that I don’t have the gun for, and rare guns that I don’t have the ammo for. Go figure.

Hmm, after giving it some thought, I reckon I should start cycling weapons the moment I switch to experimental as well, which would happen once I finally finish disassembling all the tools I got from my trip.

From scout rifle, I’ll go with a laser rifle, and from walking cane to umbrella, until midway through summer. After that, who knows? Weak pistol and throwing knives, perhaps.

Well I never want to do that again… Just completed a three day road trip at nearly 1000 pain constantly, spewing spores out the side of my half destroyed ambulance, while dodging hordes, military roadblocks, and tank drones, and having done it by subsisting off of a gallon jug of protein shake. But I did it, found a hospital and some anti-fungal drugs, even used the stem cell machine to fix myself up good as new.

Well I never want to do that again… Just completed a three day road trip at nearly 1000 pain constantly, spewing spores out the side of my half destroyed ambulance, while dodging hordes, military roadblocks, and tank drones, and having done it by subsisting off of a gallon jug of protein shake. But I did it, found a hospital and some anti-fungal drugs, even used the stem cell machine to fix myself up good as new. The sheer amount of Huge Boomers in that place was ridiculous though. But other then that I found a relatively intact APC on a backroad nearby and on the way back home it seems things are finally looking up.

Now you know what needs to be done after that. Exterminate all Mycus. Leave nothing but ash! Beat a fungal tower with a fungaloid!

Do unbutchered corpses eventually rot away? I’m getting ideas…

Mutated arms and legs do, but not sure on corpses.

Likely because arms and legs are treated as comestibles instead of whatever corpses are. o.o

…okay, now’s I got a conundrum. I am considering recording my zany doings playing the game. I’d give it a week or two to get things started. It would be nice if I do that let’s play not knowing what to expect on experimental. On the other hand, I’m getting ready to move the current world I’m playing from stable to experimental.

So I really can’t do one or the other. Agh. Looks like I’ll gonna do experimental first before recording my first ever LP.

And obviously the first step is to move your world over, test to see if it works at all, THEN see whether to save it for the let’s play or not.

And finally, since I was just going to edit this in my prior post, yeah. Corpses are “GENERIC” instead of “COMESTIBLE” it seems, with a comment that additional properties are generated on appearance.

I finally went back down the road where I encountered all those Floating Eyes and the portal that kept on summoning them, I went around and though the woods this time to avoid their gaze. At the end was a Military Bunker, inside I found the RM451 flamethrower, the holy grail of flamethrowers and every pyromanic’s wet dream. I still need to learn how to craft Napalm on this character, but soon I will bathe every fungaloid in a cleansing flame in the name of Kane Armok… Because this character has a raging hate boner for fungaloids now.

I don’t think so. They just kinda stay there in a corporeal stasis. Now I want to fire up my old Supersoldier Alpha/Elf-A Borg and chuck pulped Hulk corpses at other Hulks.
