For now, I got other plans. Got a modded Browning BLR, with a .223 conversion, and thousands of NATO ammo. Now I need to make a ton of glass flasks, and then craft me a ton of acid bombs.

I reckon most of the zombie drops won’t be worth my while, and butchering them will take too long, so I reckon it’s time for a reckoning with all the zombies in the nearby city. It’ll be raining bullets and acid, but for now, time to go on an atomic coffee binge and start crafting 200 or so glass flasks. Got a ton of concentrated acid stored up so that’s at least a few days cut down in crafting.

It should be relatively easy enough. Tried it without the acid bombs a while back. Most of the zombies are in collapsed buildings, so they’re more or less bogged down in rubble. For most part I seem to be able to fire at a range where they don’t seem to go near me. So either I’m at a good distance away where they won’t be able to pinpoint where the fire is coming from, or they’re really stuck in that rubble.

On a demon I coded to be OP as fuck, tried to take one on without the martial art I created and it brought my health to : and bleeding.

Acid melting the town isn’t working out too great. As it turns out, ceramic armor plates seem to be immune, so I’ll just do it the old fashioned way: gather all items to one spot, take the ones I want, and run over the ones I don’t. And mop up all the blood splatter.

Finally got around to transferring my character into a new and hopefully more exciting world. Same basic setup as my previous one. No mods, continuing with 91 day long seasons, and a City Size of 7. Increased to a 2.0 monster spawn rate, enabled Hordes, along with Dynamic and static NPCs.

Posting for posterity before I’m forced to punch Zombie Hordes to death naked and barehanded.

My current vehicle is sufficient enough to crush the junk items. Main problem is all the rubble lying around. Plus the fact that the city isn’t completely cleared out of zombies, so I can’t just prance about the Cannibalmobile just like that.

For most part I’m trying to make do with the situation. Set up a series of charcoal kilns to make use of all the splintered wood and tainted bones lying around. Set up a tent with food and water so I won’t have to drive back to the base to resupply.

I got two artifacts from the temple, a staff and a helmet, I proceed to wield the staff and use it. My character is telefragged. I’m stupid and have to drink myself to sleep now.

It’s back to exploring areas. I need a break from the endless cycle of trying to clean up a city infested with zombies. 2k NATO bullets spent, 2000+ charcoal from splintered wood and tainted bones, and who knows how many items I crushed under the wheel of my Cannibalmobile. Instead of acid bombs, I should craft more acid rounds for the grenade launcher in the future. Easier to use since I don’t have to activate it every time I want something dissolved. Perhaps I could lure a Shoggoth to clear out the streets for me, though I’ll have to get a heavy rail rifle first so I could kill the damn thing once I no longer need it.

If only we could… I mean, I could try using the sword artifact and see if it can turn friendly, but for now, side projects.

A little hole in the middle of nowhere I’m currently creating.

It’s got fish, it’s got a nice view of the river, and most of all it’s completely isolated. Not exactly sure where I wanna go with this. Instead of making a second fortress I reckon I wanted to make a small vacation home, away from shooting and bashing zombies to death. Got a little armchair, might stock up on booze and a few hundred playboys. Maybe set up a few stills, craft some homemade booze while I’m at it.

Off to a rocky start after a deep bite, but managing to clear out the area around this bank I spawned in fairly well. Gonna see if my fists and/or the sledge I found can get me into the vault.

Found my first survivor today…

He was a man named Tony Frank, and by the time I managed cut through the horde that had besieged his home I was already to late. Shell casings everywhere, two dead zombies, and a slumped over mobster with a deathgrip on his still warm TEC-9. Wish I could’a met yah when you was still alive and kicking ass, Tony.

Edit: Think I found his buddies down the road, or well what’s left of them. Lotta cocaine, I know they say never get high on your own supply… But goddamn it’s probably the only reason he made it as far as he did.

Busting my way into a military bunker, as the nearby ranch/silo/thingy was utterly devoid of loot. Even the toilet was empty. Couple attempts to ram with a cube van later, and I open her up. Gas tank is still intact, so I smashed the van into just a section I could push into the breach, to light up the tank then ruin like hell before it blows the turrets up.

Testing the new commune code, which requires me to bring a friendly NPC to the commune, and teleporting with followers doesn’t work, so ROAD TRIP!
Everything was going pretty well, I was successfully weaving through cars and groups of zombies on my way through towns, but then I hit an extra-dense clump of zombies that slowed me down a bit more than usual, which for some reason prompted my passenger to start firing a flamethrower out the passenger window at the zombies. Great, now I get to dodge fireballs in addition to the other cars and zombies. Continued on for a little while, then my engine suddenly gave out in the middle of a town. I jumped out of the now-useless car and ran to another one nearby, and started it up. I was hoping my friend would take the hint and switch cars, nope, he just started shooting his flamethrower everywhere. I took out a few zombies with a pistol hoping he’d change his mind, but no such luck. I noticed his car was on fire and decided to give up on him, punched it in reverse, which is good because right afterwards this happened…

After witnessing my companion’s literal blaze of glory, I peeled out and got out of town. Not far out of town mind you, the explosion caught the car engine in the blast and it didn’t last much longer than it took to get out of range of the immediate horde.

-Found a silo, tried the whole destroy it to harvest plutonium… honestly, not as much plutonium as I had expected.

-Finally found a barrel of whiskey. Current plan is to create a massive alcohol production area, and be in an almost-permanent state of drunk.
