It’s not quite happening at the moment, but I took a picture of what is perhaps one of the worst starting situations ever.
Really bad day start, no combat skills. What would you do in a situation like this?
Die screaming. That’s what I’d do.
As for Road Warrior, after assembling a suitable transport for a cybernetic demigod from another dimension (world spawn), I proceeded to enlarge the basement of the evac shelter I had picked for a base with a pair of brass knuckles. Then all the rocks went to building fortifications/courtyards/etc.
Right now I’m rebuilding a solar farm so I can set up a crafting area via jumper cables…or I suppose I could just punch out a wall and run a frame through it. That’s probably easier.
Gotta figure out a decent food supply. Lmoe shelter so ive got water forever, but unless that spring has cavefish im not gonna do beyond bareable for food.
giid news is im sitting on a weilding rig, with an electric scooter and atv both repaired and mostly(batteries low on the scooter) good to go. decent sized town nearby. looted the fringes but ran into hulks so i retreated. probably time to grab a gun and do some drivebys…

underbushes man, you can get plenty of good eggs from them, also mushrooms and veggies. might be in a little trouble during winter though. Also buckwheat you can turn that into flour with a quern. and if you get some fluid sacs from triffids/fungaloids to make cooking oil, you could live on biscuits. My character lives off of biscuits and herbal tea.
im currently living in a mobile meth lab thats parked (brokendown) in front of a sewage treatment plant, nearby forests provide plenty of food, so does the occasional dog, i do wonder when the 1% battery power on the lab will go to 0% because then I wont have a nice hot plate anymore when it does, also got a nearby missile silo
started working on the nearby town, so far so good

Prepare for massive amounts of !!FUN!! Not much else to be done in that situation.

Food is pretty easy to obtain with a little experience. Once lived on cooked pine cones for a couple of days after spawning in a particularly barren LMOE shelter.
I decided to build some wooden kegs, I like them nice amounts of storage for my herbal tea…I built 7 I might not have enough wild herbs and may have to wait for spring to fill them all. xD The only problem is my tendency to smash everything, hopefully I’ll be able to control myself.
Right now, I’m being amused by the fact that a zombie in a hazmat suit can bite me.
I mean, those things usually have facemasks so I am envisioning this zombie futiley rubbing his facemask against me.
Try getting a bite wound through alloy plating covering you through a survivor trench coat, I doubt Zeds get super powerful jaws upon reviving.
My latest lab survivor just got the Jabbewock quest.
Yes, game. Let’s make this so much more fun!
If I survive, it will be legendary.
Fisr stime I ever saw one from a quest, I had no idea what It was… Then from the dark it came and met the business end of 2 of my 12 gauge shotguns. Nice try!
Paying the price for forgetting to carry a spare tire on my bike, ran into a mine and blasted one of my wheels, reversed and another blasted the wheel behind my bike, now I’m stuck in the middle of nowhere with two trashed wheels, a extremely heavy bike full of loot I can’t possibly hope to carry myself, and a bunch of mines I can’t see.
I know that feeling. Once I ran over a minefield in the Solar Roller VI. It trashed all the wheels on the minesweeper, the front wheels of the car, some of the rear wheels, and like 6 quantums. Took me a long time to get those quantums back.
Started a naturalist, got my shelter set up on the outskirts of a smallish-medium town. Got a wheelbarrow filled with goodies and basically looted everything in the town. Now i’m just reading all the books i’ve got, after that I’m going to the hospital to find a stetheoscope and then i’ll go for a lab and try to get some CBMs.
I started a new character today. A glasses wearing biker. So far, so good, I only had to save scum twice. Once when I stumbled across a bunch of corpses in the middle of nowhere, started looting, and was subsequently eaten by a Mi-go. And then again when I was attempting to get to the gun store in the nearby town, and accidentially stepped out into the open.
Apparently, something had caused the gas station to start exploding, and a lot of the zombies around it began heading that way. But not all of them, and not the ones around the gun store. So I wound up running around the streets, being nommed on by Tough Zombies and normals, trying every car I came across in the hopes of finding a working one.
Killed my first ever tank drone. Just turned on light amp goggles and spammed it to death with metal arrows. Not so tough of an enemy, as long as you aren’t unfortunate enough to have one see you before you see it.
