So I got bored/slightly suicidal and decided to clear out an entire town in one go. Loaded up a shopping cart with food and water for 24 hours, grabbed a sharpened rebar and a nail board (the latter solely for Shockers) and decided to go die honorably.
Instead I cleared the entire town with very little difficulty. I don’t understand why, I only had 2 or 3 melee and 1 dodging to start with, my weapon was just a sharpened rebar, I only have 8 Strength (12 dexterity though) and I barely found myself struggling even when faced with multiple zeds at a time. I ended it off with almost 9 melee skill and an empty town to explore and loot.
My gear wasn’t that good, all I had was a basic T-shirt and army jacket, cargo pants with stockings underneath, steel toed boots, rain hood and flame-hood, and bone gauntlets.
Then again, this character apparently has the RNG smiling upon her, because within 8 in-game hours of character creation, she faced down and wrecked no less than 3 zombears, a pack of 5 zombie dogs at once, and a giant frog with hardly a scratch on her. With a nail board as a weapon.

…Look on the exterior of the house for some stairs leading down. Tell me what you find.[/quote]
You may wish to be prepared for close-in fighting first.

I set aside my combat monster on last week’s Experimental to try out the latest. Many deaths to hordes resulted, until the Name Generator presented me with DICK SURGES.
Labs were issued MP5 turrets, and last I checked they didn’t shoot through walls. All I changed for lab turrets was the gun they mounted, not their target-detection algorithms.

I guess it was some kind of bug, because whatever it was, it only happened once.
I was in a room I’ve been through dozens of times, and all the doors were closed and all the lights were off. Maybe it was a ghost, I don’t know? I’m certain the reason I didn’t hear it shoot was because I had earplugs in to sleep, and just woke up from a nearby bed.
