This is CATACLYSM, the game where scientists survive on drugs, the guilt of killing a village of harmless NPCs can be aliviated by taking a bath and the animals turn into ravenous kamakazie killing machines of doom (dont even think about the zombified ones!)
(in awnser, yes I think thats bugged but I am not very surprised, maybe they are GIANT strawberry seeds? Or like 2 pound sack of them?)

It’s not a bug, the seeds just have too much volume. It should be like .1 or something, not 2.

2 is the size of a flashlight for comparison.

W-w-wait. You can BATH!? If you can I’m starting to feel sorry for my characters, who bathe only in blood, mud and acid.

Two roads I followed led only to outlying farms, so I parked the vehicle in the city centre again and need to fight my way through some remaining zombies. Everywhere else it’s pretty peaceful, haven’t seen zolves or zombears, maybe because it’s winter.

Pwnage is happening. Alpha mutagen was just as impressive as I had anticipated. Also frustrating to make since I had to venture far to find tainted veggies. I hope other mutation categories get more love soon, to make them a tempting alternative to the sheer raw power of going from 8 to 15 in base attributes.

Sorta. If you wear a wet suit and go swiming it gives you a “happy morale” bonus. Same goes for any swim wear and even going nude counts as “swim wear”. Also some mutations give bonus.

Plant’s got a pile waiting. Slime is probably one of the more filled-out categories ATM.

Got an extremely good character going; a hitchhiker with Robust Genetics who is currently wielding a nodachi and stomping everything in his path. Made it to winter, started decorating the emergency shelter (started off in a good location next to a mall, which I eventually cleared out).

Then one day… I accidentally stood ON the stone fireplace I had built earlier in the year instead of NEXT TO it. Lit a fire, cooked some food, and then – wait, WHY IS MY HOUSE BURNING DOWN!!!

I barely managed to get out before the whole thing went up in a blaze. Luckily I had read pretty much all of the skill books, so even though they got toasted, I didn’t lose much. Most of the really important stuff was stashed in the basement; I just relocated everything to a nearby LMOE shelter and I’m now constructing an aboveground fort + palisade wall.

Something I learned from all of this: apparently anvils are flammable.

Well, if they’re not flammable, they definitely melt. The anvil I had sitting in the shelter did not survive the blaze.

I love doing random things in Cata!

Right now I’m “packing” a small town with just a pickaxe. And I pack everything, even roads. Though I don’t know where to unpack it, peraps in the middle of plains?

My mental image is somehow awesome or awful. A bearded, heavily-armored survivor covered in blood and vomit destroys a town with a pickaxe, while shooting animals with a huge pneumatic crossbow.
