It’s done. Two feline serums applied and the mutations have fully taken hold. Good Lord, the pain was unimaginable. Michael understood now why the process was supposed to be done while the patient was in a near state of suspended hybernation. The mutations were almost as Swift as they were extreme. Bones melting, cracking, and reforming; muscles stretching, growing, reattaching to different points along his skeleton. His jaw and septum reshaping to fit his new sharpened teeth. Short, but still pronounced claws ending in razored points. And FUR!! He had a light coat of charcoal striped grey fur!!
But what struck him dumb, as he stood in front of the mirror, were his eyes. Not as simple as being slightly larger, but they we’re a golden yellow. Slitted pupils encased in amber.
He stretched and flexed his new form. He kept his augmented strength and gained so much more. He felt powerful, almost amusingly predatory.
With a sly grin, he quietly thought, “Oh… I can get used to this.”
