What freaking skill does a soldering iron use to repair stuff?!

I’ve checked in a bunch of places and I can’t seem to find what skill the soldering iron uses to repair things. I have my electronics and fabrication both up to 3 and every time I try to repair my watch or glasses I end up breaking them. My last pair of bifocals are about to be destroyed and I won’t be able to see!

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
