Still, throwing axes and knives are good (well throwing is OP in general xD). And that explains why the electromagnetic CBM damage you.

Anyone knows if the probability travel CBM has a safe distance limit? like even if you have enough power for 50 tiles, it cant teleport you because the limit is lower.

A few questions.

Whenever i walk I create a sound of 3. Is this normal? I feel like it isn’t although that may just be me not paying attention. I don’t have any mutations or traits of the sort that make me more noisy.

Are log walls better or are wood walls better?

Is it considered bad forum etiquette to create multiple posts just asking questions? Is it just better to edit your own post to ask another?

Lye is the water solution of lye powder. I want to add a recipe for “lye to lye powder”. Lye powder needs charcoal, but lye only needs ash. One doesn’t need to make charcoal if he can just burn flowers.

Well if you only edit your posts what happens when the topic gets ten more pages? Your post is edited but if people don’t read through every page nobody will notice your edits.
For log and wood walls I would assume log is better but I don’t know for certain.
As for your footsteps, unless you have the leg tentacle mutation or an artifact that silences your footsteps they will always make noise. Less like 3 with the light step trait and 10 or so with clumsy.

Well I’m getting this error https://imgur.com/a/68cy3 when trying to load my game. I just updated from 6851 to 6875. I did make a backup before hand. I’m getting the error even when trying to start a new game or load my current save. Is there an easy fix or do I need to rollback for now and maybe report as bug?

It must be one of your mods. Current json interface doesn’t store paths to jsons meaning that searching for the correct mod requires searching through text contents.
For now it would be easier for you if you rolled back. Though if you do find which mod is it, you may want to inform the author.

It’s actually “Extra Content Buildings Mod” that is causing the error I’ve figured out. I can start a game if I remove that mod, but get the error if I try to start with that mod enabled. Pretty sure that mod is a package of a few mods though. http://smf.cataclysmdda.com/index.php?topic=14499.0

I haven’t gained the courage to try your mod out yet, I am just now surviving(and thriving) on default settings, though I do plan on giving it a go very soon.

Well, Ive fixed whatever issues I had. im glad we had a bundle of them (3) to fix at once, since Im busy in meatspace.

Before this error i was getting the too many over map specials error, and decreased some of the occurrences… could that have caused this error. I was thinking no, but I’m not very informed on this subject

Stuff eventually deteriorates outside, like clothes and cloth right?
What about drugs or non perishable foods(cocaine, pasta, homeostatic powder, etc.) when I take out of plastic bags/cardboard boxes to keep everything tidy in my stacks? Will the cocaine eventually degrade or blow(no pun intended) away or anything?

What’s the effective range of a control laptop currently? I just spotted a chicken walker but those things can detect you from large distances even at night, what would be the best tactic to hack it without get blown away in the process?

Darn it, the problem is the robot is on a open field, looks like I’ll have to get a cloaking CBM…

So what you do is show yourself and then hide again, so it comes after you.

just … make sure you can hide again if you need to.
