120 units worth of pain afaik.
Also know as — half way to instant death.
Keep in mind many painkillers take up to 1 hour to reach full effect.

Has something happened to welders in the current experimental? I’ve looked in fifteen garages and twenty-three hardware stores and have been unable to find one (I’m doing the mission where I need to find two). Is there somewhere else I should look?

Mags stores malls and homes with garages. I was going to say something but I just remembered that one cannot craft a regular welder.

I’m not sure if this will work, but you can make 4 makeshift welders, craft them into 2 vehicle welding rigs and then disassemble them into 2 welders.

What’s a mags store?

That never worked directly, but it used to be (and might still be, haven’t tried in a while) that if you actually installed them on a vehicle, uninstalled them, them disassembled them, then you get a welder instead of the two makeshift welders you made…

Sorry mega store. I really hate auto correct.

I’ve done that before to complete the mission.

Yes, worked for me just now! Thanks everybody.

I thought that would only work if you made the rig OUT of welders. I.e. You make a welder rig out of makeshift welders you disassemble makeshift welders out of it.

Got my first artefact : "The spiked sphere hums very quietly"
So does it really make noise or is it just flavor text ?
The artefact seems to make your step silent in exchange for -3PER , but if it’s continuously making noise it might not be worth.

check your sound meter. that shows all noise you can hear, from yourself or things around you. if it stays at 0 while describing the hum then it’s just flavor.

Reminds of I think the first time I found a wild artifact that wasn’t a part of a map tile. I think it lets you see through walls however it gives rather severe radiation poisoning so I literally left it where I found it. Which should also tell how bad the rads were.

So, I’m camping out near a swamp after I ran away made a strategic retreat from a school I started in ( oh boy, they really amped up the zombie spawn in schools, literal hundreds of carnivorous little monsters ) and after I tried to sacrifice a NPC to buy time but he survived without a scratch, that bastard made my way to the wilderness.

I’m doing surprisingly better than I expected, considering I just learned what brown P stands for in Curses builds. For those you don’t know, those are signs. Minefield signs in this case. After having conveniently exploded yet miraculously not dying or even breaking any limb ( my right arm broke due to cold a short while later though ) I was almost certain I’d have to abandon this character. Soon the NPC died and I feasted on him, probably the only time in this game my character was Elated. Sucker deserved it.

Anyways, my character is regularly having hallucinations ( but I see no monsters when I have them ) and getting messages like “Your head aches faintly” or “Your XXX is wrecked in pain.” I’m starting to think I might’ve caught something after drinking non-purified water and eating raw meat since I randomly go blind every now and then. Any hints of what terrifying disease or parasite I’ve caught and how to deal with it? My character is forced to micro sleep all the time and it’s a bit annoying.

I found one of those was wearable, and it only gave the ability and the rads when you wear it - SO brokenly awesome. Makes exploring labs/mines trivially easy.

Normally, yes, that’s true… but if you install it in a vehicle and remove it, it loses the information about what it was made from and goes back to default.

Ok cool. Also artifacts are one of things where it is entirely rng. You might get one that sucks balls or one that is stupidly op and I thinks that’s what they are meant to be a mixed bag. Although for that particular artifact it sucks that Arti rads go straight through rad proof armor.

My buddy found an electric disc his first run, sitting right outside his little hermit cabin, shooting electricity in a circle. Probably an epic as fuck artifact but good luck getting to it early game.

What is a turreted solar panel?

Wait when did artifacts start spawning in anomalies? I though this was New England not the zone. As for turreted solar panels they are a more effective than solar panel mounted on either a turret frame or a storage battery box, presumably by pointing itself at the sun for better exposure.

Will it override the turret that is on the turret frame or work alongside it?

What do you mean artifacts spawning in anomalies?

Well you shouldn’t have a turret and a solar panel on the same tile since they should both be on the roof. As for the anomalies thing I meant the electricity circle, which I have never encountered something like that radiation possibly but not electricity.
