Thank you very much for the answers so far, guys.
I’ve got another one: does the Electroshock Unit work only with the Adamantium Claws, as claims the wiki? Or does it now work with other weapons?
It should work with anything conductive, i.e. metal.
NPC’s a buggy currently (don’t think they have been touched at all from before DDA) they will crash your game, prone to random head explosions, aggression even after you convince them to join you and most likely ruin your save(s).
Hey there, fellow players and hopeful “newbies”! I’ve got a simple “tip” to make sure your next game session goes a little smoother!
When playing the game off a “real life” USB drive, it’s always wise to be mindful of how much space is left on it before you save your game! If there isn’t enough, you may find a nasty “surprise” when you load your character again!
Like they’re standing around stark naked due to all their clothes disappearing, and a third of their non-equipment inventory is also missing, and where there used to be a cell phone at the bottom of their item list, there is a now a mysterious and impossible “gallon jug of gallon jug”.
Yikes! You wouldn’t want that to happen to your character, right?
Be safe and be smart, everybody!
What skill, and what level of said skill, will allow me to make spike plating for my vehicles? I’m guessing it’s mechanics but I have that and can’t seem to make it.
I dont know the exact numbers, but by memory you need higher fabrication skill, with some mechanics on the side.
Cars are good against blobs, but generally, note where slimepits are on the map and try and stay away, but really, really dont sleep near slimepits or anthills and the like.
Lately I’ve been burning the candle at both ends, prolly going to be throwing some more stuff out soonish ((though I may drop my internet for a month or two while I’m busy with STUFF and/or possibly THINGS.
In the meantime I did doodle up something in the Draw your cataclysms thread.
Where am I most likely to find power armor light and/or heavy helmets? I have both of the actual suits, found together in a house filled with black widows, but so far no helmet.
Alright then, that’ about what I figured. I’ll keep on searching. Thank you very much, guys.
Another one: I understand that installing the Blaster Arm limits my ability to wield some items, but that’s it, right? No hidden penalties, or tasks that will become harder or take longer for it?
I played around with it for a bit, and it seems that while you can’t “wield” engines, wheels, jerrycans, and I’m guessing most of the heavier items, to facilitate their carrying, they go to your inventory, so it seems you can still carry the heavier items, just at a Pain penalty. Is there more to it that I’m not seeing?
