BUGFIXES makes anything that’s an insect explode into gore. And yeah, the other effects all will affect monsters they hit just as they affect you.
how do i cure frostibite? i thought it was fire but it doesnt seem to be helping.
Haha, that put a mental image of a guy freezing his fingers black, then sticking 'em in a fire.
Couldn’t find a cartoon that mimics it though. google has failed me.
Use the force MS paint…
As for frostbite light a fire wear gloves and use wait around the fire for a while, I don’t think it instantly cures.
apparently the frostbit went away on its own after a while of me ignoring it.
so i want to bring a shopping cart into a lab, but it wont let me, so i tried taking it apart, but now i cant figure out how to start building it. every time i build a vehicle it wants me to start with a steel frame, but i want to start with casters. how do i do this?
You can always add the casters to the frame you know…
but then i cant remove the frame, and i end up with an unwieldy piece of junk.
If you are in the stable/older experimentals then you should have another “start vehicle” option that starts from casters. If you are in the latest experimentals then the rules have changed, every part now requires some type of frame.
i am in the stable .8, and am using the vehicle contruction from th ‘*’ building menu. it requires a steel frame. is there an other way?
In the same menu there should be (IIRC) another “start vehicle” option that starts from casters instead of from a frame.
OK I have made the mistake of not butchering zombies before. But butchering is getting old. Are there other ways of permanently putting them down? I have smashed them before. But they seem to take of varying degrees of mutiliation. How far do you have to go? And does burning the bodies take care of it? Any other ways?
Mininukes should be effective at making things not get up again. Lesser explosives might work as well. Vehicles might work but you may explode in a firey ball of fun.Burning might work, but I’m not sure. Butchering them has the bonus effect of raising your survival skill, improving your ability to butcher animals for food/sinews/pelts. Used to butcher befor ethe
I am somewhat experienced, at least i like to say i am, but i have one problem. How dangerous is a military turret? I know getting close to one will literally splatter you all over the field, but how dangerous are they say, at night? Can an arrow disable one? Will my broken piece of kevlar protect my mutated body?
Nighttime, you can get to 7 tiles away or so. Metal arrows might work. I prefer to just chuck rocks at it. Can take a LOT of rocks (30 isn’t overkill at skill 0) but tends to accomplish the objective.
(Make sure that you’re on the same side of the fence. You can climb chainlink fences by (E)xamining them, or you can take them apart, or Zombie Soldiers may have smashed it down for you already.)
First post, noob question:
Even though you can purportedly have multiple gasoline engines per vehicle, can you only have one electric engine per vehicle? I have the needed components and skill level, and the large electric engine option is selectable to install, but nothing happens when I try to install it.
Multi-engine requires 12-14 Mech, no matter what types they are. Sorry.
And welcome to the boards!
Awesome, thanks for the quick reply
Do vehicle turrets work at all right now? I cannot figure out how to load them…
Umm… I’m unsure if they work in the stable (but they should be working in the experimental). If they are working they should automatically draw from your gasoline/hydrogen tanks if eligible; the normal ammo ones work by "D"ropping the required ammo onto the turret tile.
