How do you put stacks of items into containers?
I have a pile of dried rice i’d like to store into plastic bags, but I have no idea how to.
Is it even possible?

Can’t put things into cans/plastic bags/cardboard boxes/plastic cups.

Currently, there’s no way to put stuff into containers (bags, bottles, etc). Liquids can be transferred from one container to another, but once they’re out, just like non-liquids, they’re out and never going back.
Exception: stuff can be CREATED in containers via recipes (making cans of stuff using a can sealer, for instance, or jars of stuff with a vacuum sealer), but that’s not exactly the same thing you’re asking about, eh?
I’ve never noticed a good reason to put solids into containers, as far as I could ever tell all it did was add to the weight of the final product… Though I never checked to see if it changed how much time was spent handling the stuff, I usually didn’t care about picking it up at that point since it was just going to sit in storage and be used automatically crafting.
Anyone know a minimum environmental requirement to not getting infected by random fungal spores? Afaik the effect is random, and I’ve gone a season with no gear and not infected, but then I’ve gone two days with a basic mouth wrapping and got infected.
I’m mainly just considering if something like the 16-protection (highest passive gear I think) or the 30-protection of the bpa mask is required.
filter masks should do it. similarly, any 3-5 EP clothing should too.
keep in mind fungal spires are fist sized monsters not microscopic percipitate. they explode on your skin as well as being breathed in. gotta protect you skin too.
Also, and especially if you use my mod but not only, some fungus cal stab or poke you to injevt spores into you
That’s the part people forget. Having strong enough protection is pretty easy, it’s just hard to have EVERYWHERE. Anything less than 100% coverage leaves you vulnerable.
Personally, I cover up decently well, do what needs to be done, and when I’m completely finished, if I happen to get infected, well, that’s what the drugs are for.
Is there any other way on aquiring clay without having to find a river? I’m trying to build a wattle and daub house.
Also, what do thatched roofs need to be placed? Sometimes they just won’t allow me to place them even on a fully completed house.
Nevermind, I completed my wattle and daub home with a thatched roof. Roomy and comfortable.
Does the reload time for flintlock guns lower as your skill in rifles/pistols/marksman gets higher or does it stay the same no matter what?
Well, I tested quickly and SOMETHING does affect flintlock pistol reload times. I set all my skills to 0 and DEX 4, and reload took 1m24s. After setting all skills to 10 and DEX 20, it went down to 1 minute flat. I performed the test twice with each skill/stat combo = 4 reloads.
Note that hand encumbrance affects reload speed (in my case it was 3+0 = no penalty)
Also: I’m on month old experimental, so take the info with a lump of salt…
But let’s take the question further: What’s the reload duration formula for any firearm?
I’ve been thinking that flintlocks should be reloaded according to skill, similarly to crossbows and their requirement of strength.
That is, the higher the strength the faster you should load with the crossbow, same can be said for the flintlock but for skill instead (Marksman would be the best general choice.)
same about PDA’s - “you may load any soft in them” - not literally exact that talk me info about that device.
USB Stick is a container - right? hack soft, misc soft or med soft - is a filling of the container contents.
but the mechanism for loading from one data device to another - into the laptop, e-tablet, or PDA - apparently NOT implemented in the game? or “IS implemented”?
if we take the analogy of a mechanism of liquid bodies - from one bottle you can pour the liquid into another bottle.
and you may download the contents of the flash drive to your laptop (for example) - but in game - not can
well, you may need an adapter to do - enter a requirement of copper wires for the establishment of the adapter between the dataheld-devices.
it would be nice to have a PDA with medical software and not only with a flashlight. and yes - that go far - e-tablet, too, could easily be a flashlight as well as a laptop, you only run the program “flashlight”.
I have long wanted to raise this subject … but all forgot.
sclerosis…

Oh, this brings to mind another question. What about the Pepperbox pistol? How is the reloading variance on it? I’m thinking that the absolute minimum reload time should be around 50 seconds Per Barrel, as that’s how fast a trained professional could have reloaded one in real life. Obviously the advantage of a pepperbox pistol over a flintlock pistol is that while it’s less accurate and kind unwieldy(-2 on your dice rolls to hit specifically), you have 5 more shots.
But it’s still a flintlock weapon, and so it’s horribly impractical to reload in combat.
What’s up with “filthy” clothing? Does it lead to disease if worn? I’m actually scared to know since I don’t want to find out that we’re supposed to do laundry now in game.
Wearing filthy clothing makes you unhappy.
Okay, how does one go about tapping for maple syrup? I’ve drilled in a spile and put a 30 gallon drum under it, but when I came back after a few weeks, there wasn’t even a single drop of syrup. Is there an additional step that I missed or is it a bug?
I think any shallow water will do, so swamps will work… also, there’s a particular house variant that has an area of shallow water out front.
Umm, how do I unload a vacutainer? I was trying to craft some blood essence (arcana mod stuff), which requires blood as component, but it turns out that blood inside vacutainers are not counted in the crafting menu, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to unload it…
Eat it
WARNING: Character will be VERY unhappy about this
