Maybe jackhmmers should destroy roads?

My own Question:

 Item Lists, how does the game determine what is pulled (and how much)?
   In some cases, it appears to use the attatched numbers as weights, but in others it appears to use them as frequencies, instead pulling one of each item if it passes an RNG check?

Burn down houses and use a shovel on the rubble (just examine the rubble tile with a shovel, digs it up automatically).

I killed a innocent and now I have a massive morale drop. When will this go away? I’m not going to use my precious frosted toast-ems just so my character has the will to construct parts.

Destroying road will give a LOT, but that’s pretty hard to do (flaming eyes used to be great for that, actually - don’t think they do it anymore, though).

Drop a tree on 'm.

I don’t know if that’s terribly practical in forest/road borders, but there’s a few parks that put trees and sidewalks close to each other.

This morale drop will last for several days, slowly decreasing until it goes away. I think you’ll be able to (albeit slowly) craft and read at around…-50?
The biggest problem you’ll have is food supply actually. You won’t be able to cook anything, because your character won’t bother with it. If you have MRE’s or other, already finished food, you’ll have to use it. You might be able to help your mood a bit if you have an MP3 Player and enough batteries or the ability to recharge it with a vehicle.

1 more hint: don’t drive over innocent people - aka survivors which are neutral or even friendly to you. This will also trigger the killed an innocent morale drop.

If you have 2 different kinds of engines and sufficient fuel for each one and turn your vehicle one, is there a way to only have one on at a time or do you just end up using 2 different fuels with the combined power of the engines.

Under the “control the vehicle” menu (or whatever it’s called), there’s an option to control individual engines.

there’s a recipe for belt fed mod now in the experimental builds, but it requires wrench level 2. Nothing has that. Am I missing something?

Huge problem: Whenever I want to update my experimental build, my vehicle disappears. I have never seen anyone else have this problem before and I don’t know why this happened for me. Before, I was able to update with no problems but now, my vehicle always disappears. This has happened 2 times now, forcing me to reset all my progress every time I update. Is there a solution to this? Or do I just have to deal with forever?

Pretty sure you can only get metal in a total wilderness world from crash sites.

Edit: Refrigerators and shelves in mansions are another reliable source, same with labs.
Edit Edit: Most any structure that generates with 0 city size should have something you can break for scrap metal.

Are you thinking of UnrealWorld? There is a mod there for digging bog iron from swamps.

I know that scavenging from underbrush will occasionally supply metal lumps, but that strikes me as horrifically grindy.
