Do i lack some skills? or how could i open gun safe?[/quote]Yeah, this could use some alteration. You can pick a gun safe with lockpicks (improvised or otherwise) by pressing “e”, then toward the safe. But applying the picks on the safe doesn’t work for some reason.

Wait them out or get stimulants.
Though there is a magnitude cap thing that can prevent mitigating strong depressants with weak stimulants.
Like when you are on meth withdrawal and coffee does nothing. In this case you can only get stimulants from non-food sources. For example, datura. Though datura sucks because it keeps your focus level at 0, no matter your morale.

Go into the save folder, then the world, then check the files with garbage name and .sav extension. They are human-readable. CTRL+F your character’s name. One of the files will be with one character, one with the other.
Once you figure out which one describes the character you want to get rid of, just delete it. Or move it somewhere else in case you want to make sure you don’t delete the wrong one.

Oh, can I somehow change my character name by changing something in .sav file?
I asking this because I ain’t managed to find character name in .sav file.

Oh wait, .sav doesn’t actually have the name.
It is encoded in the garbage text, in base64.

So to change the name, you need to find the new name in base64 (there are converters online) and then rename all the files with the old name to ones with the new one.

UPD. My NPC companion was complaining about her radiation sickness for about a week (that’s because of my radioactivity). Because of that her opinion about me started to fall down, last time I checked it out persuade chance was 16%.
Today her brain exploded.
So why? That’s because of her radiation level or because she tried to left the group but failed?

Heads of NPCs explode when they keep trying to do stupid shit that could harm the game’s resources - for example trying to use a lighter on themselves over and over again.

The NPC head explosion is intentional… it makes it so the game doesn’t crash from NPC’s trying to do stupid things. Don’t fix the head explosion… fix the things that get NPC’s caught in a loop so the game decides it necesary to make NPC party poppers

Due to the nature of my work at sea I spend a lot of time as watch keeper in the ECR when we are leaving port during night time. Some times it can take six hours of doing nothing, just waiting for alarms so I play cdda some times to make time go faster.

In my game I have enabeld the Asgard replica mod because I want to make the mjoljnir replica. I have been searching for the book in mansions and libraries with no luck. Are the rng gods against me or do I have to cheat.

(Would be hilarious if the book was in the bookcase with all the machinery manuals in the ECR…)

Cdda have been my favourite game since I began to play it 6 years ago. I even tell the cadets to try it when they are bored and are to tired to go ashore( they stay at the ship for 3 - 6 months) and many of them love the game, wonder how many of my cadets are lurkers here ;). Cdda is even better now when it’s available in AppStore :3

Is tank treads (or generally wheels) nerfed recently? I recently transferred my WIP Skywind MCV from iOS to the newest experimental, and the construction window says that it is unbalanced, but in that earlier experimental it worked out well.

Just noticed something while using the Advanced Inventory Management screen. When moving large piles of stuff and doing it all in one go with “,” you spend several minutes moving the pile. But if you just use “M” or move them over one at a time it only takes a couple ticks.

Yeah, comma moves everything one at a time basically the same as holding down enter. Capital M moves everything in that stack in one action - it’s MUCH more efficient in most cases.

I very seldom use the comma anymore - I almost always just hold M instead.
