Kinda hard to tell.
Cap is 2skill+2stat. If your damage is above the cap, you lose half the damage between expected and cap.
It isn’t a good weapon overall due to how slow it is. It may be better now that AoE no longer sucks, but 1 vs. 1 it’s only good against very armored stuff.
I tried it out. 11 strength, 2 melee, 0 bashing.
~22 damage per shot, ~80 knockback. against 1 zman.
The knockback is nice, and prevents him from attacking. But its a specialty weapon, if that.
How can I accuratize my bow and upgrade to ++ broadsword?
Before patch it was fire arm kit and welding rig.
Now I cant both(
Im not sure if bows/sling can be accurized any more.
Broadsword should def be soldering iron/welder.
Yeah, bows and similar simple ranged weapons can no longer be accurized. In exchange, they no longer need a gun repair kit to repair.

What exactly does an item’s butchering quality do? Does it determine how long it takes to butcher something?
-
Is there any chance for a zombie scientist to drop an ID card?

I think there is some affect on time, but the most important thing about it is that it affects how likely you are to get “extra” stuff from butchering - fat, hide, chitin, and most importantly CBMs. Summary: if your butchering tool has a positive butchering value, your dex is 12 or higher, and your survival skill is 3 or higher, you will always get the max CBMs (though some of them may randomly be “burnt out” - nothing changes that, as far as I know). If any of those 3 conditions aren’t met, there’s a chance that you won’t get the max (but having the other 2 higher, like a higher dex or, say, a butcher knife with 225 butchering quality, does improve your odds). If none of those conditions are met, you are guaranteed to get NONE.

Oddly enough, no, there isn’t. Seems kinda dumb to me. Until recently, the only place to find one was random corpses on the map; recently, they added a tiny chance to find one IN a lab. Well, I think spider basements also have a chance to generate almost anything - I think I got one in one of those once, too.
Kinda hard to tell.

I like the sledgehammer more for its utility. Wield sledgehammer, activate hydraulic muscles, bash through solid rock.
Whats the deal with how poorly the fuel tanks on my car/trucks are doing?
They spawned with 1 leaking and 1 intact tank. Despite filling the intact on they would leak at irregular intervals. Usually when I wasnt driving or was turning. wtf mate. And THEN, when I got out and smashed the faulty tank all the gas/diesel flew out all over the place! If I hadnt taken samples of the diesel I would be fucked.
This isnt how I remember fuel tanks behaving.
Hydraulic muscles only give 20 str. With sledgehammer’s 40, it still leaves 40 strength to gain.
Even assuming a 20 strength start, insanely strong (+7), active adrenaline (+5), +2 CBM, active jet (+1), active stimpack (+1), meth (+1), you’d need almost 600 morale to get the ability to bash solid rocks with a legit character.
Do you have an old character buffed with granades or did you figure some other exploit?
Marloss Man has 80 STR
Artifacts are your friiieeends.
How exactly Ethanol Burer do? I drunk some beer but my energy didnt change(
Burner* - But I want to see Ethanol Burer))
Ethanol Burer? I didn’t know those short psychic things from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat drank. o3o
And if I recall, Ethanol Burner is an active bionic. Is it on?
It’s passive. Tried it, and it seems to work with beer.
Are you perhaps using several bionics that drain a large amount of power? Beer only gives around 70 power or so.
I just pose for the eyebots and eat policebots.
Wheels and wide wheels are usually a decent source of energy.
Drink the police. o3o
- Chop down a tree,
- chop into planks,
- stand on the pile,
- turn on internal furnace and CAPS LOCK,
- spam E0 until full
Much faster, but somewhat wasteful: hit tree with car, stand on resulting piles of large sticks and splintered wood, see 4&5 above.
Sooooo I just noticed my new character has developed a mutation, but he hasn’t been around any radiation, no mutagens, no artifacts, and has stable genetics. The only weird thing hes been around was a shimmering portal for a moment and the lab type building in the middle of a fema camp. So where did the mutation come from?
Also how do i chop logs into planks? I tried to butcher it with a wood saw in my inventory and all i received was 39 skewers…
