Yes and disabling it will also remove the lifebar and damaged gear animations.
How do I increase NPC spawn rate in my current save. Can I edit worldoptions.json?
Also, can I enable zombie hordes in my save? From worldoptions.json:
"Emulation of zombie hordes. Zombie spawn points wander around cities and may go to noise. Must reset world directory after changing for it to take effect."
How do I reset the world directory, and what is the impact, will all items etc be respawned?
Thanks
Npc spawns: yes
Wander spawns: Now
World reset basically generates a new world.
What are the pros of using external tanks on cars? It seems like they would be very easy to destroy
fuel tanks are better than bombs, make one outside, make distance and fire until it explode
They have a lot of storage.
Diesel tanks are mostly safe to put outside because they have a very low chance of explosion on hit (0.1%) and rather small explosions. Hydrogen and gasoline tanks should be kept inside.
Even so, external tanks are more exposed to damage. Personally I’m not so concerned about explosions but leaks. It’s a whole of fuel to lose at once… The large capacity might actually be a downside. It’s the “all eggs in one basket” effect. But it is possible to build around an external tank and give it more protection that way. Location, location, location… is the key, I guess.
But also, if you install a normal fuel/water tank, you can’t install a storage battery in that same tile. Truck and car batteries are OK though. In that sense, an external tank might open up a bunch more slots for storage batteries if one needs them. But then again, even 1-3 storage batteries is super plenty, right? I mean, 64kb oughta be enough for anyone, haw.
I’d assume an external tank is super useful for one-time low-risk transport operations. Install tank, haul liquid, uninstall tank.
When can we transport whiskey in vehicle tanks?
How do I open the sealed display cases? They have sweet, sweet CBMs…
Smash them open.
As long as what is inside isn’t made of glass, it will be fine.
hmm you guys made me wonder. Does diesel explosion/fire last longer? Diesel is used as a fuel source because it actually gives more power over a longer period of time, instead of in rapid little explosions. Does the game emulate this with the seemingly never ending fire afterwords?
Is possible to “unfold” folded items on ground without actually need to pick them?
^ I don’t think so… unless its something they have done in more recent versions than what you are playing in…
I am experiencing some annoying crafting menu lag in 4036. I remember hearing something about it somewhere Don’t think I ever saw a full explanation though, think it was blamed on too many items in the vicinity, but I experience it even with 1-2/no items/relatively very few crafting items/tools nearby. Has this problem been found/ solved in more recent versions?
Since folded vehicles are items, it should work via its use_action and thus let you unfold it while standing over it. o.O
Why do raw carrots have a negative moral modifier? Raw carrots are delicious and I don’t know anyone who hates them
I agree, a lot of foods I’ve found in the game I enjoy in real life and yet the game says otherwise
Don’t tell me you guys eat lemons for snacks.
I do in real life.
? Is that not normal?
