Pretty much. If you pick the self aware trait it gives you nice flavor text and a more accurate description of what’s wrong with you.

Yeah, wielding stuff from your inventory is now slower compared to drawing it from a sheath, holster, scabbard etc. How slow additionally seems to be affected by how big the item is.

Is there any reliable way to farm fat with zombie evolution in the late game? Wildlife is wayyyy too rare to get it off them at this point, unless the moose have all been partying somewhere without me, and I need my goddamn pemmican.

Swamps. That’s the only thing I’ve found, but it can be amazingly effective.

Can you grow hemp seeds outside? I found seeds in an underground growroom. Also, will I harvest cannabis from the plant? Or can I actually get hemp, to make rope with and such

I too have been interested in this. Fat has so many wonderful uses–tanning, pemmican, oil. What creatures do you hunt, or do you mine the fat?

Swamp creatures are nasty enough to keep zombies at bay but not so nasty you won’t just die (especially late game). If you have dinomod enabled there will probably be some very large playmates waiting for you so go loaded for T-Rex.

It is indeed proper hashish, and not mundane hemp.

And yeah, you can grow it outside. It’s in he basement because it’s meant to be a “let’s grow this away from prying eyes” sorta world-building detail.

In strictly vanilla Cata, the Giant Frogs that spawn all over swamps are the only truly reliable large sources of meat and untainted fat. They’re my prey of choice when making pemmican and preparing other non-perishables for winter.

Few questions regarding vehicle building: if I put spiked plating on the windshield, will that obstruct my view? Trying to figure out if I should just replace the windshield with reinforced class or just plate over it.

Also if I attach a welding rig to a solar-powered car, can it run off the energy generated by solar? Or do I have to use batteries

Armor plating doesn’t affect vision, no. This can be seen in tank mod, with the technical’s rebar armor over the windshields.

As for solar-power, um…do you at least have A battery installed? You need something to store the power that panels produce.

Yep. As long as you got a storage battery in the car, a welding rig should work.

Also, windshields? You’re better off with quarter panel. Last time I checked it was even stronger than reinforced glass. That or just go full cockpit and use cameras.
