Sonic resonator, explosives, vehicles with drive by wire controls, street sweepers? ← not sure if you can control them, never bothered.
My favorite is sonic resonator. 100 CMB energy and done, sometimes I get unlucky and have to use it twice.
Where is the best place find copper tubing? or what is the best way to get it? also charcoal.
Dismantle fridges and some other furniture, for tubes. For charcoal, best option is to obtain a charcoal kiln.
Thank you.
Is there a craft-able wood axe? Or do you just have to hope you find one of those, or a fire axe at a fire station
Stone and makeshift axes can be made. You require at least level 1 construction plus some other skills
Coo beans

That reminds me of something I’ve been meaning to ask for a while: is there any advantage of the wood axe (wood cutting 3) over the fire axe (wood cutting 2) other than combat stats? I haven’t found any…
Also, note to everyone who has asked about turrets and range, etc: in the latest experimentals, turrets light range has apparently been bumped back down. I started one today, and you can safely go up the stairs now - the range is definitely lower than before.
Far as I can tell, the higher woodcutting quality should be needed by some things, but unsure what.
Do the refrigerators in houses preserve things for longer than if you just left them in an open square? I always put my food in them anyways, but recently the 'fridge in the safehouse I’ve been using was smashed by some asshole named Rolle who then proceeded to open all the windows in the living room and stand in the corner until I Muay Thai’d him with a random character with the “psychotic” attribute
I’ve wondered this as well. I know you can get a minifridge for vehicles and that works. I don’t think the fridges in houses work since they don’t have power, but I could be totally wrong.
If I recall, they don’t. Sadly the fact they’d at least keep the cool in longer isn’t represented, but then again one could assume the Cataclysm had been ongoing long enough that any power failures would’ve occurred long enough ago for it to reach ambiant temperature.
At least that would be the logical excuse, the real reason is because no one’s decided that insulation and other properties is worth coding.
Will bone broth/human broth rot? It doesn’t have the color text that would indicate that there’s a level of freshness, but then what’s the purpose of a sealed jar?
You use jars to seal fish, meat, soups, vegetables and some other foods that would probably rot otherwise. If it doesn’t have the blue/yellow text fresh/spoiling food has then I assume it won’t spoil.
Noob question: how do you go about wiring/running power inside a building from a generator outside?
I set up a generator and want it to power various devices inside my base, but don’t know how to wire them without using frames/breaking the walls for my base. I tried using regular wires which didn’t work, and I heard that jumper cables do the job but are fairly limited in range. Got a bunch of copper tubing I ought to try out but I’m wondering if there’s a better way to do this.
I’m trying to build something like this:

Ok I figured out pictures! The above is the generator and below is how it fits in the base:
Anybody knows what these full-stops represent?
Somewhat exploit-y method. Build a door frame in the middle of your base, smash it and it’ll turn into a dirt tile, and the game will count it as an outdoor tile where you can set up solar panels.
Outside of that, unless there’s new stuff in the experimentals I haven’t noticed yet, jumper cables are the only way to connect them. Not sure whether cables will work if you close the door/barricade the path of jumper cables leading to the inside of your base.
Personally, I just swap storage batteries in and out of the car I use as my solar farm.
And then what? Drop the storage battery next to your device group and use jumper cables to power it? I already have swappable storage battery cases installed and everything, I just can’t afford to use any more power to install/reinstall them every single time I need to recharge them.
My generator looks like this:
_ - Foldable light frame
- Solar panel
0 - Swappable case + storage battery

I’m planning to fill the rest of the frames with their respectable parts later today. Is this enough to power any device I might need?
What you do is you let that storage battery fill to capacity, then remove it, and bring it into your base where you’ve got your fridge or whatever. Then you drop it on the ground and pull the battery out of your fridge. Then you pick it up again and install the fresh battery in your fridge, and remember to turn your fridge on again after. Then you take the spent battery and go install it back into your solar panel rig.
I think you’re talking about the fridge specifically here, whereas I’m talking about a group of furniture/devices acting as a “vehicle” on their own, for example a welding rig and a mini-fridge mounted on a pair of light frames. Does the same removable-battery system work here too? If so, do I need one battery for each device? I was sure you could power such group with one battery alone.
Also, for “furniture” which have removable batteries like a fridge - does the process of installing/removing batteries require a welder or an acetylene torch? Like I already said, I can’t really afford to waste any more batteries on these actions. How long does a full battery last you before you have to switch it again?
Im sure I read in the vehicle mod there is wires of some kind.
I have never seen them nor used them but I am sure I read they existed on the forum thread.
