Do toxic waste dumps have ambient radiation or should I be safe so long as I don’t go popping anything I find there?
Some random hotspots, generally worst in the sewage and the building itself. Best solution is to sprint up to the door, crowbar it, grab the good stuff, then sprint back out. o3o
What are some recommended or favored guns and armor loadouts (not crossbows or laser weapons, don’t have enough for those)? I’m using the RM51 with my SWAT armor, armored fingerless gloves, armored gauntlets, knee and elbow pads, and it’s pretty good.
In terms of guns I really REALLY like the KSG shotgun. You can load two ammo types and use both without actually needing to reload. Or you can just put half a tonne of buckshot into it and destroy zombie hulks.
Noice. Where can you find such a destructive weapon (does it have a certain place)? Or is it just like any other gun spawn, that can spawn in gun stores?
I was hoping someone’d say that. <3
Note that plain old crossbows are decently potent but have very easy to make ammo, basic wood bolts work rather well. You need Bowyer’s Buddy if you want to craft it though.
Despite the downsides for it, my favorite deal is to Ascend with Elf-A, and then get a bunch of traits from the Medical Tree. I’ve done that with more survivors than I can count anymore, except for my most recent one where I went Ascended-Alpha + Medical to become a Space Marine.
I’ve been using a pistol crossbow with steel bolts, since I’ve never been unable to retrieve ammo in this playthrough. Nailgun is useful since you can find ammo almost anywhere, and the only real drawback is that it doesn’t do much damage.
Pretty much, yeah. Dynamite SHOULD still work, though not 100% reliably, and anything less won’t do much good.[/quote]
I still use dynamite, despite the points I have to spend to get my cooking to 5.
Provides a reliable way on making drugs and dynamite.

Slings remedy that low damage with a nailgun, however slings don’t do much (If at all) damage against strong zombies like hulks, brutes, hazmats, etc.
I think i have broken both my legs some how, how do i go about treating them or getting the recipes to treat them?
also im randomly gaining pain and a notification that my body pains me, is that a parasite?
Been fighting any fungals lately? if so I’d find some royal jelly or CBM blood filter quick. Or antifungal drugs.
Anyway hit @, check your status and see if you’ve been breathing in smoke or infected. If you can’t see anything… Well, go find those antifungal drugs.
Also check your inventory – enough pain will lower your strength, which means you’ll be carrying more weight than you can lift, which means more pain, less strength etc. Happens often if you’re carrying around stuff like car engines with a low strength.
As to broken legs, well-- check your healthbars. Also if the name of the part is blue, you’ve been bitten and need to disinfect/cauterise it.
As to fixing broken legs, craft some leg splints, then apply them. It’ll take a while for them to heal. Alternatively you can try searching the hospital.
random pain dealt with, just noticed i had antiparisitic medication on me and first use got me the notice “the pain in your joints goes away” so i guess i had gotten a parasite from somewhere
Yeah, that’s why you don’t eat raw meat or dirty water. I heard raw eggs and possibly vegetables do the same.
was probably the wild vegies was nomming those up quite a bit for the first day
I found a wiki article stating just that.
Food parasites are a potential side effect from eating certain goods raw. Items posing this risk include uncooked meats, bones, and potentially uncooked wild vegetables. - Wiki
What is the difference between the REGENERATES_50 and the REGENERATES_10 monster flag?
Edit: The number is the amount of hp it regenerates.
how do you get the recipe for dynamite
You can get it from a book called “Advanced Physical Chemistry”
Pretty sure there’sothers, but that’s the one off the top of my head.
Easily found in labs, just gotta look around a bit.
